So pretty! Thanks for sharing

thanks so much it really was a blast and these are not even pictures that he photographer took these were my mother in laws pics and I think they are really well taken...I will post the Disney pics as well so any brides wanting to see how the photos are, it is hit or miss.

Love the pictures!! Your dress was beautiful... It seems like the whole day was beautiful :). Thanks for sharing.

Yes the whole day was beautiful. Thanks 4 the compliment on my dress, if you read my post in the begining this dress was such a dramatic event, it is a klienfelds dress and they did a great job with it, someone did step on it and it was ripped at the end of the event thank godness for that, but I love it and klienfeld has it for repair.

Anyone that has seen my pictures FYI the bridesmaid flowers are so not real...did i do a good job????

yayyyy!! your pictures are soo nicee!! congratulation and thank you so much for sharing!

p.s. your colors are very similar to mine. were your bridemaid dress colors apricot?

beautiful pictures! And your MIL did a great job, I thought they were professional! The dresses and flowers were beautiful and it looked like a gorgeous day!

Hi Everyone! Long time lurker, brand new poster :)

We are hoping to get married on Castaway Cay this year, or at least on an outside deck of the ship, if Shanda ever gets back to us with open dates :( There are so many things to consider, so I hope we hear back soon!!!

I'm really enjoying reading all the wedding threads and have gotten some really great ideas, tips and suggestions so far!!!

My long story short: We got engaged on New Years Eve! And since then, I already have my dresses picked out and my daughter's MOH dress on order. I also made her MOH bouquet because from everything I've read it sounds like additional flowers are a bit pricey! We are going to buy suits for DF and the best man (his son), since the rental seems to be pricey also, and perhaps a bit of a pain with timing. All I need to do now is figure out what to do for the invitations and of course, the most important thing... SET A DATE FOR THE WEDDING! LOL...

Welcome Belle! Can't wait to hear about your planning!

I have some questions for our past brides...

We are not booked into a concierge room. What concierge "perks" do we get to partake in with our DCL wedding? Do we go to the concierge "welcome" party? Are we able to access the concierge deck/lounge on the ship? Are we able to check in at the concierge counter at the port? Can we sit in the lounge there? Can our guests join us too?

Thanks!
Heather

I has been 3 years since I cruised, but we did get some of the perks. We did check in at concierge counter, and I want to say we went to the little concierge welcome, but beyond that, I don't think we got anything else. Maybe they have added things since we sailed.

Just wanted to say congratulations to everyone. This is such an exciting time for you all. :mickeyjum

My Dream Cruise VR is 10/14/11. I can hardly wait.

Thank you all for the beautiful pictures and wonderful ideas. I'm just beginning to start our planning for our wedding on the Oct 16th 2011 cruise to the mexican riviara aboard the wonder. You're all an inspiration! I'm getting excited to start the planning!

Thanks for the info! I think we'll end up getting a DCL photographer. I don't really have the time to research Florida photographer or watch for cabins to open in lower price brackets and/or discounts/resident rates. Reviews do seem to be more positive lately, and I suppose the worst that happens is we refuse to buy the pictures afterwords. Thanks for the heads-up on Shutters!

It's my first cruise so I can't really help you- sorry! I just wanted to say congrats on your wedding and welcome!

I have a question for past brides- were you able to attend the Sail Away party or is that during the time you meet with the wedding coordinator, have the legal ceremony, etc? TIA!

I am bringing my photographer, her name is Mikkel, here is a link to her face book page, it works out for better for us, you get more for your money AND she is very talented!

Jumping in here!! DH and I are talking of doing a VR next year (2012). When we got married, we talked about doing VR's every five years. Last year was our five year, but we were in the midst of trying to heal our marriage after some difficult times, and we didn't feel it was the right time. Now, we are seeing the progress we have made and would like to celebrate it. It will be just us and our three kids, so no guest lists or seating arrangements to worry about, just focusing on us and our little family.

I'm SOOOOOOO EXCITED!!!

I loved every detail and minute if my wedding, but if I had had the means, I would have gone Disney the first time around! Still, I'm excited at the thought of getting to have the Disney wedding magic without the six figure price tag.

Photos are SO important to me as I'm a part time/self taught/prosumer photog myself, so I am drooling over those MK photos. I'm totally considering bringing a photog friend along. It just so happens that I have one who LOVES Disney also, that could totally work for us :wizard:

So yeah, that is all for now I guess. I think we have it narrowed down to two ring sets to chose from (we're both getting completely new rings) and I'm having fun bookmarking tons of dress possibilities! I am thinking of late 2012- maybe October, so plenty of time on the booking part.

Lisa is also my travel agent...when I decided I wanted a Disney Cruise wedding I googled it and came across her PJ, I was hooked! I searched for her and then hit her up on facebook and asked if she could give me insight into how I could plan a wedding very similar, she was SO sweet and has booked everyone and has helped me through a few tough spots (trying to get family to book, etc.)...everyone on here has been so wonderful :)
