Thank you Lisa!!! I just picked up my dress from Alfred Angelo and thank God all is well with it.
I bought a real dress bag to put it in, its not wrinkled right now so I'm not sure they will need to steam it. I will check after the car ride.
However, Glenn's shirt and pants will need to be done when we board.

Thanks for the heads up about the Tea Party, we will have to get tickets for that.

Hi Lori
Do you have a picture of your dress? That's so exciting! I haven't even started to think about a dress yet!

Hi Sharon

Well I am severely computer challenged. So I am not capable of posting pictures. Sorry.

But My dress is the same dress Disneydumbnut wore at her wedding. so if you look in the finished trip reports I believe she has tons of pictures. She also wore it on a cruise wedding. Its really a perfect cruise wedding/renewal dress.
Its actually the dress my daughter wore to her Catholic wedding ceremony in
2009.
My daughter had a beautiful disney wedding in 2008 with a fairly tale princess dress.
So at the same time she baptized her son, she also had a wedding blessing done. She bought the dress at Alfred Angelo and it was perfect for the day.

I LOVED the dress and when we decided to have a vow renewal I knew I would want to wear her dress.
I'm excited to have another beautiful family memory made with this dress included.

Besty where are you???

Post a few pictures of "OUR" dress please!!!!! :good vibes

Thank you!!!

Its really a perfect cruise wedding/renewal dress.

I think so!!!

Sorry I am late..there is a link in my signature

but here it is!

Thank you ma'am, I knew I could count on you. ;)

I am going to learn how to post pictures when we get back, so I can put them up!!

DFTW posted a "sneak peek" at the new cake designs available for DCL weddings today. No details except that the first one is referred to as the "Ocean" cake...

Oh wow, the second cake design is the one we had at our wedding in November. I knew it wasn't the one we selected in our paperwork, but it was still beautiful so I had no objections. Interesting....

I got those cake choices in my packet from Shanda a few months ago. The "under the sea" on is $75 extra and requires 4 week notice! It's great if you have those colors and are not worried about a cake topper!

That is the same thing that happened to us in November but I didn't say anything because I thought it was beautiful. Better than the polka dotted cake I picked out!

Does anyone have any ideas for wedding favors for a guest who is on their first cruise? I have favors for everyone so far except DF's ex-coworker from Germany. He's retired and he and his wife are flying all the way from Germany for the wedding. :confused3 I'm thinking about some sunscreen, but I'm sure they'll bring that kind of stuff with them. We were thinking a miniature Dream ornament, but I can't find one in the Disney store.com or on Amazon. :sad2:

The ornament is a great idea. They have them on the ship. The only thing you could do is get on once you get on board and then just deliver it to their room with a thank you card. You could also check ebay and see if anyone has one for sale.

Yeah, but we have beach bags for the guests and theirs would be empty until we get that ornament into the bag... I wonder what time the gift shop opens? If it opens early enough (before dinner) then we could get one and take their bag to guest services to deliver.... timing's important!

Updating my PJ right now with more pictures! This time it's all about the favors!

what about ...

You have plenty of time to, ask someone who is going before you here on the boards to pick you up an ornament and mail it to you.

I am sure someone would do that for you.

I would if i was going on the dream, But i am going on the magic.

Iyou want me to look for one that just says Disney Cruise Line i could do that for you.

Dizzi that would be awesome if you could! I can write Dream on the bottom or something if they have one without the name! I did ask another bride on here who's going this weekend on the Dream, but I didn't get a response.

Is anyone else going on the Dream soon? Like, before mid-March? I would be so appreciative if anyone could help me! :yay:

I will definitley look for you.

IF there are choices....you are just looking for something you could write on?
DO you want the year? or does it matter?

I arrive back March 3rd.

But normally i go onto the boards a couple times while on the ship, so i will let you know if i find something while on board.

And i have just put it on my list of things i want to do while on board and i will be putting the list somewhere where i see it everyday!!!

I never did actually make a PJ on here (Darn it, I wish I had now!), but Carly posted a few of our pictures from our photographer on her blog the other day.

For those interested, here is the link (now that I'm able to post links, yay!):

The gift shops on the ship do not open while you are in port. You have to be out at sea for them to be open. I would try to have someone get you one. There was a small replica of the Dream when we were on in November that was cute that you could write on the bottom. Love your gift bags!

Thanks! Just an ornament that looks like the boat. If there is space, I can write the name of the ship or the date of the cruise, but there doesn't need to be. DF and I had looked at a model of the ship for sale, but we're not sure what his friend would do with something like that. If you can't find an ornament, it's ok. We'll look once on board. I suppose I could even email Shanda about it too.... If we find something else first, I'll let you know ASAP dizzi! Thanks again!
