Good experiences? Bad experiences? I know WDW has been fabulous for my son, with well informed cast members to ASD....will the activities keep him busy and occupied at sea as well? (Note that he is a thrill ride enthusiast!)

What can we expect? Also, with a family of 5, what kind of accomodations will we need? (I've cruised before kids, and those rooms were tiny with just DH and I...can't imagine 5 of us TOGETHER!!!!

For a family of 5 you would either need a Cat 4 ( deluxe family stateroom with verandah) or suite...or the less costly option of two connecting rooms ( only less costly if you choose inside or oceanview ). I've not travelled with a child with autism and think alot depends on your child's functional level. While DCL doesn't offer 1:1 counselors, they do try to accommodate special needs kids, even those who are nonverbal.---Kathy
