Disney Cross Stitch

Hello!

I am interested in some of the Disney cross stitch kits that they are selling in the Art of Disney stores, specifically the castle or Mickey saluting. Does anyone know how much these are sold for at the park? I've seen them for sale online for as much as $89.99, and that just seems waaayyy too much!!

Has anyone finished the castle with tink yet? It is taking me forever. I also started quilting so that is taking some of my "my time". How long does it take to complete?

LOL -- I've been working on mine for 3 years now!!! Of course, that's only in small spurts. I've really gotta get that thing done!!!

Does anybody live close to WDW who visits often who would be willing to pick me up the Tink on Mirror cross-stitch kit? I could send payment including postage via paypal.

I spoke with the CM at the Art of Disney store last wk (by phone). He said they have all of the cross stitch kits in stock with the exception of the Family Dinner one. The Family Dinner and Barber Shop Quartet were both discontinued but, due to popular demand, the Quartet was brought back. He said they thought the Dinner was coming back at the same time but it hasn't happened yet. They do expect it to return at some time, but can't say when yet, because the demand for it is so high. I ordered the Castle kit for $55 including postage and handling, I think it was $55, I can't find where DH has hidden the checkbook to confirm. It should be here within 2-4 wks, can't remember if it's UPS or Fedex. There is an express shipping option but the cost is higher.

I was at the parks last fall and got both the tink with castle and puppy love ( mm, mm & pluto) I have only started puppy love. They sold right around $50 each. Hope that helps.
