Is there a weight limit on the cribs/pack n play that Disney resorts provide? My pack n play has a weight limit of 30 pounds, I believe. I'm wondering if they are strong enough for my 2 1/2 year old?

Not sure about a weight limit but I'd say if your 2 1/2 yr old can use the pak-n-play you have at home then you probably can use the one at WDW (and vs/versa if he can't use the one at home). Other options you may want to consider are renting a full size crib from a baby's best friend www.abbf.com Many people here on the Dis have said they have rented from them and that they're wonderful. I'm thinking of doing this myself for my Sept. trip. They will have the crib waiting for you at your resort I believe. Either that or you could always bring your pak-n-play from home if your child can use that and you are driving -- but I'd opt for not having to bring my own personnally.

WDW resorts use a pack and play so if he/she fits then you are fine. If not IIRC the deluxe resorts offer a full size or you can order one from an off-site co like abbf. I do know that if you want to use the bed or daybed the wdw resorts will provide bedrails for free - my sil got two one for each side.

While we have gotten pack/n/plays we also have gotten a regular crib. It was silver and my daughter was calling it her "princess bed". I can't remember which resort ?????

One more thought is to pack a PNP sheet if you have one as well as a regular crib sheetl, and some personal items for baby. This way no matter what crib you get the items and smell of detergent and home are familiar. I had forgotten about this but it made a huge difference for my dd's.

Thanks for the responses!

My son is just turning 2 and weighs 29 pounds now so I began wondering if he will be too heavy for the pack n play for our trip in August. I'm not sure he will sleep in a pack n play anyway but was going to give it a shot if he isn't too heavy. I've read many posts about people using the pack n play for 2 1/2 year olds and no one has mentioned a problem with weight limits but I would think that many 2 1/2 year olds are over 30 pounds (my son is tall, but very thin and he is almost at the limit now).

I may try getting the bed rails and keeping him in bed with me or DH. Good to know that Disney will provide them. Actually, it wouldn't be a bad idea for my 4 year old either!

Thanks again to all of you for sharing your knowledge!!
