Me and hubby are thinking about getting a credit card from Disney (or i should say chase lol) and i was trying to look to see what the limit is on the card. if anyone knows can you let me know please!

Don't know what the cap is, but when I got mine in November, they gave me a line of $3800, which is a good bit lower than my previous credit card from another company.

The credit limit offered will depend on the successful applicant's credit score.

ah gotcha! thanks! our credit should be pretty decent concidering that we make our car payment and mortage on time every month since we have lived here and had our car. we are actually just about 2-2 1/2 months away from paying off our van! YAY US!! lol!

well hubby just applied and it said it was unable to make a desion right now and we will be notified in writing. ugh! hopefully he gets approved!

that happened when I applied online too, but I got the card within a few days and my limit was very high. I think that happens when they need to verify your information for some reason, so its not always bad news :)

I don't know how they figure it out. I applied online for one with a free $100 gift card after first use in Apirl and got it. It's limit is $4000. Way more than I need. But I am now paying all bills with it and earning rewards. Then a few weeks later got an offer in the mail for one with $150 free rewards after first use. I decided, what the ehck and sent it in. I was logged into my chase acoout a few days ago paying off the other card and saw I was approved for the new one as well. (havne't gotten it yet though) That one has a $5000 limit. I will probably use it once and get the free rewards and then tuck it away. The only difference in that ones app is I asked for a second card with my DD's name. I only did that because she is going to FL and doesn;t have a card at all. I thought I would sen it with her, wit the strict instructions to be used only in an emergnacy and if then, she has to pay for anything that occurs. (she is trustworthy) But I will feel safer knowing she has some back up funds if absolutely needed. (she wil lbe 18 when she goes)

They may not like you if you pay your bills off and never keep a balance. If you do, you are more likely to be approved.

well we have been making mortage payments for almost 4yrs now and car payments for about 3 yrs.

I don't know about that. We have never kept a balance on a card, pay everything early, never a penny interest, never late on the mortgage, etc. When I applied online for the Disney Chase, I was approved immediately. I got $3800, which was kind of low, but didn't matter much since we would never reach that mark. We applied for a Lowe's card last month to get the 12 months no interest on an installed fence, and got a limit of $12500. The manager running the application was stunned and said she had never seen a limit that high, and that more than half of the people applying for cards there get denied. So that rule doesn't hold true for us, since the second network approved us for more than triple the first.

same with us. this will be our first CC. we have never been late for a car payment or our mortage. there was only 1 time in the almost 4 yrs we lived here that we payed our mortage on the 1st (when its due) otherwise we always pay it a week or more before its due. same with our car payment. right now we are about a month and a half ahead of our payment :goodvibes and thats only cause when we got our taxes we paid almost $2000 on it! i think we might have to call Chase though cause when i filled it out for hubby i wasnt thinking right and ended up putting $2000 for our annually income! OPPS!! so im sure when they see that they will deny us lol :lmao: lets just say we make way more than that a year lol!

I don't agree either. I got a approved for the second one and I am not carrying a balance on that card, and only $150 on the chase M/C.
