Do you know if the $200 credit/gift card after you spend $500 is a statement credit or a gift card? I've seen conflicting information. If it is a gift card, how long does it take to receive it? Thank you!

You'd best call Chase, since the offer may change from what other people have experienced. Right now on the Chase Visa site they are promoting it as a statement credit.

"To qualify and receive your $200 statement credit, you must make Purchases totaling $500 or more during the first 3 months from account opening."

I just got mine and it was a statement credit

It actually depends on the card you apply for. The offer from Chase via its website is $200 statement credit but it's the $49 annual fee card.

The one that people have referrals for (yay!) Is $200 gift card but it's the NO annual fee card.
