Disney Couture

Have any of you heard about the Disney Couture Wedding Collection by David Tutera? There was an ad for it in the latest In Style Weddings magazine, but the Disney website (url given in the ad) doesn't have any information.

Hmmm . . . I haven't seen or heard anything yet, but after a quick Google search on the matter I did find this:

Pretty interesting, if you ask me. Now if only one of the DIS DFTW brides could win the Couture wedding, now that would be awesome!!

kind of makes me wish even more that we had done our wedding as originally planned, WP and MK reception...back when we wanted to do it, it wasn't as ridiculous as it's going to be now...

ah well, our wedding was pretty kick butt and unique you know!

I dont really see how this "disney's couture wedding wedding" is going to be all that much different than a planned out custom wedding??

I was interested in the tuxes apparanantly going to be designed for Disney Couture.

I wanted DH to wear a mickey tux, but alas, no, he picked out his own...lol

I briefly thought about designing a Mickey gown! lol! I wanted hidden mickeys on my tiara, but couldn't find a place that would custom-make one (if I knew how to do it, I'd have done it myself!). Best I did was make my own veil and sew hidden mickeys on it, and dangle a small mickey ornament from my bouquet...

I totally agree! I guess the only thing I can see being different is the attention to detail you would receive with a couture wedding. That and maybe rather than being given a number of locations to choose from, you can create your own location? There's gotta be other perks though, otherwise the money spent isn't worth it!
