Disney Commercials

Not sure if it's just me, but there seem to be way more Disney commercials on tv this winter. I know they're advertising the Canadian ticket discount, but I don't remember seeing this many Disney commercials in past years. I'm assuming Canadian visitors are down due to the lowly dollar, although I am surprised at the number of people on my Facebook that have either gone or are going. I love seeing them, gets me excited.

The only time I see a lot of Disney ads are when my kids watch the Disney Channel. I also see the same MiniPop Kids ad run on the Disney Channel, so I can only conclude that ad prices are really cheap on some of these specialty networks.

I agree! There is even a Rogers commercial I have seen a few times that shows all the Disney landmarks but then it just talks about their "Roam like Home" plan(or whatever it's called) They must be hurting for Canadians to come down because of the dollar, because I don't remember seeing this many Disney commercials in a while. Now I am leaving for Disney in 8 days, so maybe my "mickey senses" are noticing all of this stuff that I didn't notice before. LOL

I agree! That's what my wife says, we leave in less than 6 weeks so she said it's just because we're going to Disney that I notice them. But I think I would have noticed them more last year when we didn't go. Either way, I'm really liking them, and these aren't on the Disney Channel mostly TSN and CTV.

We just came back from Disney a couple of weeks ago so I'm definitely not looking for Disney references but do have to agree that there seem to be more of them lately.

Have noticed quite a few Disney park/cruise commercials too.
