I really want to do this, but I want to know more than whats on the website. Any of you out there that have done this??? I want to wait to tell my parents that i really want to do this. I need to make sure there is not extra cost for living besides what comes out of your paycheck for the rent. I know groceries and things that I need, but do you have to pay for uniforms and all that? Any information will help me!!

I applied to the CP and will be participating in the program for this fall. :) The only extra thing - that I know of for now - that you have to pay in the program is the $75 program assessment fee. You do not need to pay for your "costume" (what Disney calls their uniforms). Feel free to PM me if you have any other questions.

And yes, The College Board on DISboards is a great resource as well.

I did the college program and it was wonderful! I actually did the program twice...the same role both times. I learned wonderful customer services skills that I never would have learned in college (I have a BA in English/professional writing) and which helped me get the job that I have now.

Do a search online and you will pull up MANY sites regarding the program. That's where I started when I decided to do it.

Good luck and go for it! You'll love it! :)

My brother did this program and loved it so much he never moved back home. LOL He's still living in Orlando, but is now working for Hard Rock Cafe. He travels around the world redesigning all the Hard Rock Cafe's.
