Hi!

My son and daughter have both done the program. And, about 4 of their friends have as well. My daughter is currently working QSFB and a friend of my sons is as well.

From what I know, it is a decent job. But, it mostly depends upon where you are located:

Parks: Epcot, AK and DHS seem to be much more desirable then MK (and I hear this is true in many rolls). AK is nice as you have most nights off. At the other parks you may pull a earlier shift - but - it is not that early.

The most testing rolls, as I hear it, are the little outdoor kiosks in the park. You are by yourself, in the sun / weather and there is no supervisor close. Your only option is to radio a supervisor and then wait.

Resorts: Resorts can be a bit difficult in that:

1) They start early for breakfast, and, it is not uncommon to get a crack of the dawn shift.
2) The bus service is not as good. You may have to go to 3 other resorts before you get to yours. Thus, longer commute times. And, I do not think these buses are as frequent - could be wrong.

A roommate of my son's was written up numerous times as he just had a tough time arriving on time for his 6:00 AM shifts at one of the resorts. A few times, after missing a bus, my son bailed him out by waking up at 5:30 and driving him to work.

Hours and Extra Shifts: Everybody reports that QSFB seems to be the easiest place to pick up hours and shifts. My daughter has done that continually - my friends son works in Epcot, but, picked up a shift at Cinderella's Royal Table. The manager there liked him - so - he now pick's up two extra shifts there weekly.

You also may apply and get selected for the Epcot Flower and Garden festival, working a kiosk. My daughter is now training for the upcoming Food and Wine festival - and she is very much looking forward to it.

Your Day: What I do know is that they are very good (in most all rolls) in breaking up your day. My daughter explains that a typical day for her may be:

1) Prep or Cook
2) Work the Drink Orders
3) Work a register
4) Fill Orders
5) Bus Tables / Clean Tables or Trays, etc.
6) Greet Customers

So, you should not be bored as your task will change almost on the hour.

Others can probably give you more detailed info, or, correct anything I got wrong. Good luck!
