Disney college program in Japan?

I'm curious for my niece (who would like to do some sort of internship in japan) if Disney offers a program for US citizens in Japan? Could anyone point me in the direction of some info? I think she would be a great fit

As far as I know, there is not. If you look at their standard CM requirements, fluency in Japanese is a necessity. I think stage performers may be the only exceptions. The vast majority of visitors are Japanese. The guests are not as diverse as they are in either of the US parks.

There is no program that I know of. I think there sometimes is a professional internship that deals with the international parks but they don't actually work there. They work here (usually in Orlando) on the design team and make a visit or two to the international park if at all during that time.

She could look into working for Disney English or Adventures by Disney. I know Disney English is based in China only right now but it is a fun opportunity. A degree in childhood education is not required only preferred. They want people who love to work with kids, have a strong grasp of the English language, and love Disney. Adventures by Disney is interesting because you don't know where you are going until you get hired. You may really want to do the China or Japan tours but get assigned to the London or Dude Ranch tours.

I had a friend who spoke fluent French and Japanese, and he was sent to Italy. (Now he speaks fluent Italian as well)
