I think that the reservation system is only all messed up right now because it's new... I trust that Disney knows what they are doing! The new site is weird though, I'm really not liking it so far but I guess I just have to get used to it. Anyway, you still have a couple months to secure the reservation and you have the best luck ever when it comes to Disney so I really wouldn't worry about it! Even if you didn't get the ADR, the important part is that Preston is coming and you two could literally eat ANYWHERE and have an awesome, frumpy beyond frumpy time!!!! So either way... it's a bingo.

Wowaweewawa, that is some carazy first couple of days!! There's so much to do for the introductions into the program hey? Wow, I'm impressed at all the early hours (then again, I'm sure some of your working hours could be crazy, though concierge is probably a little less crazy? )

I'm so excited to hear all about this, reading the TR is making me so excited, I really hope I'll get to be a CM someday!

You definitely need to go to that look alike audition!! I'm rooting for ya! Are there specific ones that you need to go to? I feel like on the website it's all "cp's not to attend this one" even though the ones I've been to there've been cp's there...hmm...

Ah!! So exciting that Preston's all booked in to come and see you, that's so great!! Also funny fact, he'll be there the week after we're there! Hahaha!!

There's so much to comment on, so I'm going to sum it up: I am loving that you are sharing your experience with us. I really wish I would have done the DCP!

Oh man, you are going to have SO much Disney food! How exciting! Getting to try so many new things! I always go with a list of things I want to have, but there are only so many times one can eat in a day. I think I also hit my wall fairly early, so I have to pace myself. I STILL have yet to try the waffle sandwich with the chicken even though it has been on my list for the past 2 trips. We keep going over there, but it's too early! We did get to go to AoA. We had the surf and surf burger, which was delicious (the crab cake with the popcorn shrimp on top). Such a different choice!

Haha, I love the picture on the countdown to your trip with Preston. How exciting that it's really so soon! Not only will you finally be reunited after some time apart, but you'll get to be in DISNEY! When my parents asked Howard to come to Florida with us when we were still just dating, I was ecstatic! Greatest thing ever.

Im loving every detail. For some reason I just need to know what it is like to work for Disney.
I loved the door knobs at the Casting building! I just watched Alice in Wonderland the other day. Its cool to see the decorations and themeing in buildings that just don't end up in many of the typical trip reports.
I hope you are having fun in Patterson!
I am now wanting to go to Chick-fil-a for dinner.

Ugh, I love those Mickey crocs and I'm kicking myself for not buying them when I saw them at Port Orlenas Roverside as we were leaving the World in Dec! I need these shoes! I also totally bought my kids knock off Disney shirts at Wal Mart for the Christmas party when it was 85 degrees in December and they couldn't wear the long sleeved ones I made...unless I wanted them to melt!

Fabulous updates so far! Twitter is fun, but just not enough info! Glad you loved Art of Animation! We enjoyed staying there. The Surf & Turf burger is fabulous! I can't wait for more updates! Hope you enjoyed your sleepover with your mom!

I want to go back to college and do DCP. Do they accept students in their masters? Maybe I can get my masters. lol! That would be soo fun to just go wherever in Disney! I want to move there!!

Yay for CSR! That was my first favorite mod, but now I like POR more (still haven't managed to stay at POFQ though). And yay for Preston being able to visit soon! Good luck getting that CM's ADR. I'm sure if you keep on checking, you'll succeed

I hope one of your goals is to try every Disney restaurant by the end of your DCP. You already have a pretty good start, after all I'm glad you liked Publix - it's my favorite grocery store. They're always so clean, and they have great BOGO deals, and their birthday cake is seriously delicious. Oh, and you need to try a Publix sub soon! They have the best subs. Not to make this entire paragraph about food, but the PP who said they always crave Chickfila on Sundays has it right, that happens to everyone, especially during college football season. Chickfila supports the SEC, and so they play a lot of commercials during the games, and you always want it the next day. If you've never been there for breakfast, you should try it sometime. The chicken-minis are so good.

Hey! Sounds like you are doing a great job so far! Got the rules down!

Hope you enjoyed your day off today- I know it was probably an emotional day for you with your Mom leaving. It is great that Preston is coming to visit you soon- I'm sure that once you start you will be so busy that time flies by! You guys will have so much fun!! Try not to worry about the Chef Mickey reservation- something will probably open up between now and then, although I totally get your frustration with the website- I have been trying to make our ressies for May and it has been a struggle.

Have a good time- soak it all in! Thanks again for sharing it all with us- it is so much fun to read!
