My family and my sister's are going to Disneyland next year. We have 312 points to spend. In a pleasant coincidence we can spend that exact amount by getting two rooms for four nights at the Grand Californian or two rooms for four nights in a concierge room at Paradise Pier. The GC is a standard view, and PP is city view. What does every one reccomend? A few pros are::

PP:
Free Breakfast total of 8 traveling
reportedly larger rooms sizes

GC:
Much more spectacular
Seems to be closer to parks

Thanks for your input!

I don't know the answer to your question, but I'll bump your post back to the first page so maybe someone who can help will see it.

Best wishes -

We also plan to go to DL next year for the 50th anniversary and wouldn't consider staying anywhere but the Grand Californian! Location, location, location!

The GC is a beautiful resort, but without a park view for those points, I would go with PP, especially for the breakfast savings.

GC has its own entrance to California Adventure and is closer to the DL entrance (but not by much) and is a little closer to downtown disney (or whatever they call it - it is right there and can be loud sometimes).

I would go with PP and I would suggest you eat one or more meals at GC to experience the resort.
