Disney Club Code for National rental car

Anyone just back use the "old" code? Any problems? Getting great rates with the old code compared to the new one, just wondering if there will be any problems. Thanks, MKY

I am not going until December, but I too am booked with the old code. My guess is they won't even know. The website would not let me use a couple of other codes, it said they expired prior to my reservation. As long as I have my DC card with me, I'm not going to worry to much since the computer let us use it, unless someone comes back and says they had a problem.

I know the last time I used EA they didn't ask for any proof for any of the discounts I used.

I used the old code for our May ressie. The web site took it and I checked with EC Customer Service just to make sure. She read it off the reservation system and said I would receive the DC discount.

I am a DC member, but alas, do not have the old code. I just booked with the new code for September and no discount. Can someone PM me the old code so I can use it? We even rented a car last April using it, but I don't have that paperwork anymore. Thank you!

I'm using the older code too, and I suspect that many others are as well. The rates are much better with it than with the newer code. I wonder how long they will use both?

I rented from National over President's week using the old code and had no problems whatsoever. In fact I tried to give them the DC card and they said they didn't need it. This was on the EA by the way--not counter service.

I read somewhere else here on the DIS that you could get the Emerald club membership for free through a special with my disney club membership. Does anyone know if this is still possible?

We just joined Emerald Club for free with a link from Mousesavers. I think it was Spartan Travel.

I think I set-up a name/password after I received the EA membership number. Have not received the actual card yet -- only the e-mail confirmation.

Just wanted to let folks know that I used the NHOL discount, "old" Disney Club code, and an Entertainment Book coupon all together for my March 1-8 rental. No problems at all.

I paid $185 total for a full-size rental (Buick Regal, chosen from Emerald Aisle).
