Disney Club Code-3 night minimum?

Now that the new codes are out, I've been playing with my ressies, trying to get the best deal for our needs. I wanted to split my visit-2 nights mod and 2 nights deluxe. When I used the Disney Club room only code, I was told it was a 3 night minimum. I was quoted 397.16 for WL. With the general code, there was no minimum, but also no availability at WL for my dates. Has anyone else heard about this? I keep thinking if I get the right cast member on the phone, I will eventually get my way. These boards have really made me an informed consumer.

When you use DC rate and book your trip with DC, the res has to be a package, which includes a minimum 3 nights of stay at the same resort plus unlimited park hopper pass.

But when you use the general codes for your trip, you are making a res with CRO, which can sell resort stay only. There is no minimum night of stays when you book thru CRO.

If you are only staying there 4 nights and want to stay at two different resort, you can probably only book it thru CRO with general code. Then you can use DC to get discounts on the passes.

I used DC code to book 3 nights at WL so I don't know about the minimum stay rule, but I do know that you don't have to get the ultimate parkhoppers to use the code. We booked room only with no problem.

You could also try Expedia and Travelocity. I found the same rate I got w/ DC on Travelocity.

I booked 1 night with DC, room only package (CBR for December) and got the 20% discount. I cancelled it this week and got a better rate with the code (about 36% off).
