Disney Clothing... is it ALL so, er, Disney?

I usually get some sort of kitchen gadget (whisk, spatula, etc.). Last year I found an awesome white lightweight scarf with black paisley print and hidden mickeys all over. This year I'm planning to add an Alex and ani bracelet and a Vera Bradley makeup bag.

I second the kitchen gadgets. I tried so hard to find subtle Disneyland clothing. I never saw anything that I could wear in my day to day life. So instead I pick up a mug every time we go. They get used far more than clothing would! Although I do own a Jack Skelington hoodie that we a around Halloween and a very nice and subtle Disneyland logo windbreaker. I would love a Disney Dooney bag!

Yeah, I wear my Disney stuff all the time :lovestruc

I agree with the Alex+Ani bracelets. I have 5 Disney related ones (Mickey, Minnie, 2 Cinderella, and Sleeping Beauty's castle).

Lastly, a really neat souvenir would be the silhouettes....and much more economical than the price of a tshirt or sweatshirt. I would recommend splurging for the frames too. I bought the silhouettes one trip and figured I would jest get some frames at Michael's. I never could find the right frames so the next trip down, I bought 2 frames.

:lmao: I finally bought the silhouette frames this month at DL - I thought the same thing...hey, I'll just find something at Michael's...and they are dated 2010!
The silhouettes are finally framed and in a bookcase and I do think of DL every time I look at them!

Oh! This is on my "must bring back" list. How much is the framed silhouette just so I have an idea for my souvenir budget? Thanks :)

I think the actual silhouettes are less than $10 and you get 2 of them. I believe the frames were around $14 a few years back.

Good to hear I wasn't the only one....:rotfl:

This is the reason I buy all of my Disney apparel from stores like Forever 21 and even Target. I also love searching through thrift stores to find vintage disney clothes. I have gotten so many cool sweaters and pjs that way. A lot of people sell cool vintage Disney on etsy too, but they overprice. Thrifting is 99% cheaper.

I bought mints in cute little tins covered in Disney characters. Imagine a small altoids tin. Now that the mints are gone, I use the tins to hold gum and keep them in my purse.

I also collect pins. I don't have too many, and I display them pinned to a fabric covered board in a frame without any glass.

Picture frames. My favorite subtle one is stained wood with dark Mickey head cutouts in the corners.

Christmas ornaments.
