I thought it would be nice to start a thread for any cute Disney-themed clothes you guys find in stores ... I know the obvious ones like Disney stores, online or handmade things, but we don't have a Disney store near us and I like to see things before I buy them :-)

We're taking our kids to Disney for the first time at the end of August and I've started looking around for shirts and outfits for them. My son will be almost 4 and is in a size 4T-5 ... my daughter will be 11 months and I'm not quite sure what size she'll be in. She's in a 12 mth size now, so I thought maybe 18 mths.

Sam's had some cute girls and boys Disney outfits ... bought DD a Micky/Minnie one with red shorts and a cute ruffled polka dot top. They also had Car and Pooh themed clothes for boys, but I didn't really like them, so didn't buy any for DS.

Walmart has some Princess outfits for the girls, tops with shorts and I picked up a Tinkerbell tshirt at Target.

Any other finds out there?

I made some cute shirts from the designs on the boards here. A lot of the artists will personalize for you, and they do it for free out of the goodness of their hearts. :) It's just a matter of printing them out and ironing them on.

Kmart has a lot of really cute Disney outfits for babies/toddlers. That's where I've gotten the majority of my DD (now 2) disney outfits (and we have a lot:rotfl:.) There usually pretty responably priced, and if you're buying the outfit for Disney (if they won't be wearing the outfits beforehand.) -Keep the tags on them, because they usually have sales every few weeks that they advertise so you can get your money back (you can do a price difference, but only within a week, so if you keep the tags on them, you can just return and rebuy if needed.) Can you tell I go there a lot:rotfl:

ETA: Also, the outfits usually aren't online (just like one or two will be,) but all of our kmart stores have A LOT more in the stores.

And, towards the end of the summer last year (like in August) Walmart had a good amount of disney outfits online (didn't see them in the stores) and they were pretty cheap, because it was the end of summer, but it worked perfect for our end of Aug. trip :)

I've had good luck finding things at TJ Maxx and Marshalls too. I bought a ton of Pooh baby jammies before my son was born, and onesies too. They tend to have more Pooh stuff than say, Mickey or Minnie, but I also had good luck getting my DS Cars PJs there too.

Yesterday I spent a long time browsing around Etsy and found tons of cute outfits ... the majority of it is Minnie-themed for girls, but they had some really cute stuff! I'll probably buy a couple of dresses from there for DD and supplement her wardrobe using the stores you guys mentioned above. :)

I also saw that the Disney store online had some cute shirts and outfits for boys on clearance .. I'm thinking of doing the design your own option to get the kids matching polos!

When my boys were toddlers, Walmart often had cute outfits with Disney characters on them.

For this trip, I got them great Star Wars shirts at Kohl's (we were there during a SWW) for $7 ea and some cute shirts and sunglasses at the Disney store for $3 each. For the sunglasses, I got cute croakies at the dollar store, and never had to go to the spare set.

just got my 5 yr old daughter some really cute clearance items at Wal Mart of all places, a Princess sundress that is adorable, a blousy Tinkerbell shirt with capris, and a tinkerbell shorts outfit.
really cute girl stuff not any boys that I could find...

You can try Kmart, Walmart, Target, Sears, TJMax, Ross, Marshals. I make all my dd's clothes. you can look on the DISboutique thread, if you see something you like you can PM them. Etsy has some great sellers. Also someone said the design board they also can custom with names or some are just great with out. Even look on craigslist for used clothes from WDW or DL.

Except for the ones I've made myself to customize, I think I've gotten all of my Disney shirts at the Disney store or from Disneyshopping.com. I watch their clearance sales. The clearance prices can beat even Walmart prices and the quality is better. I will never buy another t-shirt from Walmart. Every t-shirt I've purchased from Walmart looks horrible after a couple of washes. Clothes for infants were always fine, though.

I saw some cute Disney themes clothes at Target last week.

Walmart has a ton of Disney girl clothes on clearance. all really cute. Even though I make all my dd's disney clothes I am tempted to purchase some of the bottoms to make tops to go with. Cheap and really cute!

Just picked up an Ariel tee kit at AC Moore. On sale for $6.99 (vs $9.99). They had a few other designs. The kids color in the design, then you heat set it (or wash and recolor).

as much as i complain about my former place of employment walmart really does have a great selection.

two weeks ago i got dd a three piece minnie mouse set with purple shorts and little jacket with polka dots and minnie heads on it and a pink tank top with a minnie on it. for ds i bought a 2 piece cars set. best of all 9 bucks!!!

for our trip to ak, dd got a set from nanny and grandpa last year when they went to some dinosaur museum out west. its got dinos all over the top. ds will be wearign his luau shirt we bought him at i think walmart last year while on a shopping trip to maine.

i know i have one more combo for them but i cant think of it rite now.

Wal-mart has some princess and tinkerbell stuff. Some of it is on clearance. My oldest just got a princess shirt and my youngest got a tinkerbell shirt off clearance last time we were there. They had princess and tinkerbell pj's too.

If you are looking for adorable embroidered custom shirts, e-mbay is a great place to look.

There are several that make disney stuff.

I got adorable shirts for my kids at Mollygram-Embroidery. Kinda pricey, but we got a lot of compliments on them at the park.

Happy shopping.

I agree with the OP, I do Disney store or shop online, they usually have Ts and pj pals for less than shirts at Walmart. I try to match the girls shirts, so I buy them when they have a sale. Also, if you sign up for online, you get emails with sale info which I have used quite often. I order for the following summer by going up a size for each girl, so I can get some more use out of them.

BTW, my experience with their swimwear is poor, so don't spend the money, Target and Walmart swimsuits last longer.
