Disney Classes Already Filled?

My daughter was accepted for the DCP Fall Program. Her friend is doing the Fall Advantage program and when she went to register for the Disney classes they were ready filled. Is this normal? We were very happy she was accepted but if she can't take the Disney classes then what's the point? I am a big Disney fan and supporter but is this just a source of cheap labor for Disney? They talk about the classes available on their website and if they are truly limited then Disney should state that fact. I hope I'm wrong on this. Has anyone else had this experience?

Fall Advantage had their registration period and they did fill up. Sometimes a few more spots open up though. Fall hasn't had their registration yet.

When did your D's friend try to register for the classes? According to the course registration page, registration for May/June arrivals started on April 7. My D did the program last fall and made sure she was sitting at her computer the second registration opened for her arrival date. She wanted a popular course (Disney Heritage, which she loved!) and didn't want to take any chances. Good luck to your D!

She got on the same day and nothing was available. It doesn't matter anyway, I just found out my daughters college won't accept any of the classes for credit because they are only pass/fail graded. She just received an email from the Dean of the business school about their decision. Very disappointed. This means she will have to take some online courses to be able to do the DCP. I think we have to look at this as more of an internship than a college learning experience.

Fall Advantage was able to register in April for the summer term of classes. Both Fall and Fall Advantage will be able to register in June for the fall term classes.
