Disney Christmas Figurines

Since 1983, we have been collecting the annual Disney Christmas Figurine. They are ceramic and feature a different character each year. While we usually receive notification in Movember each year of that year's edition, we have not received any notice this year. Since 2001, they have been made by Scholastic, Inc. I e-mailed them and they said that Scholastic does not have the Disney Figurines anymore. Prior to 2001, they were done by Grolier, Ltd.

Anybody know the fate of the collection? We began the collection the year we got married and have not missed a year, 25 and counting.

It is amazing, I could have written that same post, my husband and I have been collecting the Christmas Figurines since our wedding in 1983. I too, have been trying to find out about them for this, I have not received my notification this year either...very disappointing. Please let me know if you find anything out.

Any luck finding anything out? My mom had collected them, and had gotten the bells for my husband and I. Since we lost her, I wanted to continue the tradition and don't know where to find them.

I have had no luck either. We have been collecting since 1980 - before they were numbered - and also did not receive ours this year. My husband passed away in October and I thought I would still get one last one. Makes me sad - but at least I have the previous years. Please let me know if you hear anything.
