Disney Chicago Home Restoration

There is a project showing the Disney childhood home in Chicago is taking donations for restoration--it is thru kickstarter.com. Is it legit?? It seems like it would be fun to be a part of I was going to make multiple donations on my childrens behalf--but it only will let you donate once from what I can see.
