Disney characters

Does anyone know how many characters are available for us to meet at WDW? Everytime we go, my family and I meet ones we have never seen before (like Twiddle Dee & Twiddle Dum). We started to list all we have seen and gave up. I'm sure there has to be hundreds. Does anyone keep a running total?

We got 160 characters listed (many of them with the help of other character hunters ), and we try to indicate if they are very common or just too rare to bother to look for! And some are pretty much special events only.

We also have a link on our site here at http://home.att.net/~disneysue/characters/wdw/disneylinks.html#locations which shows many sites that list characters you can meet. Most of these are in a list format.

It's fun looking around the parks for all the different characters that can pop up!!
