Disney Characters--How many can you meet?

OHHH!!!! I am so envious!! I would love to just strut into Magic Kingdom and meet some characters, like an after-school activity!! To be local!!

Also - did you meet Prince Phillip, or did you mean Prince John?? I would be very surprised to find Prince Phillip there!! (without Aurora, too!). And Prince Phillip with Friar Tuck would be an odd combination, but it could happen - I seen stranger ones!!

I have already warned Tara that this year at the MNSSHP and MVMCP we are character "hunting". If I have to buy tickets for each event two different nights.... I am going to get some of those "rarer" characters.... We have never spent much time character hunting during either, although we have been to both each of the last three years.

We went a couple of years ago for 4 days. We did not "look" for specific characters and had no problems getting a lot of autographs. We got several of them by attending Character Breakfasts, but there were an abundance of characters throughout the parks.

Hint: We used the Crayola Washable markers for our autograph pens and the characters could hold them easily. We also kept these on hand with some coloring books to entertain our children while we waited in line for rides/autographs.

I know of a WONDERFUL Disneyland site for the characters, run by a character-loving family in California, at http://www.dlandfriends.com. But they just have characters and doesn't get into the specific autographs, though in theory the characters should sign the same at both parks (though there can be some differences!). I alway read dlandfriends.com with total envy, as it makes me want to hop the 1st plane to California!!

EDITED TO ADD: For some reason, dlandfriends.com doesn't seem to be working right (when I posted this). I get text but no photos. Hopefully that is a sever issue and the site will be working soon!
