I am now preparing our ADRs .... I need to book at least 2 character meals for the children.

Can you please rank your favourite Disney Character Meals restaurants, and WHY ? Do I go for breakfast, lunch and dinner ?

I think it would be best of you state the age and sex of the children first....if you have 2 boys they really wouldn't care about princess meals;)

Our favorites are:

Crystal Palace -- puffed french toast and potato casserole (and, of course, Pooh and friends)

Cape May Cafe -- good selection of food, not as crowded, great character interaction

Chef Mickey's -- good food selection, the Fab Five, but very crowded and loud

I have boys, so we've never done a princess meal, but our favorites are:
Chef Mickeys - lots of fun and good for both breakfast and dinner and
Crystal Palace - only been there for dinner, but they have a good selection.
This trip we want to try 'Ohana. It's gotten good reviews on the boards and there are characters at breakfast.

Our nieces prefer the food at the breakfasts so we tend to book those more. The biggest hits with the girls are Norway Princess and Crystal Palace breakfast.

I've done:
Chef Mickey's - breakfast
Crystal Palace - lunch, dinner
1900 Park Faire - breafkast, dinner

Of all of them, our absolute favorite was Chef Mickey's breakfast. It's now a must 1st day for our upcoming trips. We really enjoyed 1900 park faire for dinner. The food was good and the character interaction was great. Breakfast there was a disappointment. I love Crystal Palace because I have a soft spot for Pooh, but if it wouldn't be my first choice. On our next trip, I'd like to do the castle breakfast, despite the so-so reviews. I know I've read lots of great things about Ohana's character breakfast as well.

Definitely Ohanas for breakfast and CRT for lunch - my son likes eating in the castle and doesn't mind the princesses at all!

Tusker House for Donald's Character Breakfast is a lovely one in AK
good food buffet style, mickey, pluto, goofy & donald. would recommend:)

It depends on the kids. My DD7 is a nut for all things Disney but my DS11 isn't interested in characters at all any more, so we're only planning 2 character meals on our next trip - Chef Mickey to see the classics and Akershus to see the Princesses. In the past we've done more... Last trip we did CRT and Akershus for the Princesses, Chef Mickey for the classics, and Ohana for Lilo & Stitch.

We prefer breakfast/lunch for character meals so that we have our dinner time free for a quieter, more relaxing meal. I always have way more dinners on my ADR wish list than we have time for, so I'm not interested in filling a night with a character meal that we could get out of the way earlier in the day.

We have 2 girls ... 13 and 8 years old.
The 13 year old does not really care about princesses anymore but does not mind seeing Mickey and company.

The the 8 year old will still enjoy it for sure.

Chef Mickeys and Crystal Palace! For Princesses, PSB at Akerhurs in Epcot!

My DD loves eating at CRT (Cinderellas castle) and teh breakfast there is good. The princess breakfast in Norway is also one of our faves.
For Mickey we like Chef Mickey!

We always do Chef Mickey, the kids love it year after year, they really love seeing Minnie for some one on one time :goodvibes

The last trip, we ate at CRT, and while my girls had a great time getting dressed in costume and seeing all the princesses, we felt a little more rushed there than at other places for breakfast. Food was very good though, and there is something so magical about eating in the castle!

We did (the boys were 4 and 1 year):
- Chef Mickey's (breakfast) and loved it. We were at the first breakfast seating (7:30am) and the food was hot, good, and the characters spent a lot of time at each table and came around more than once.

- Hollywood N Vine- (breakfast) was good. We were once again at the first seating and if you like the Little Einsteins and JoJo and Goliath this is a must. The boys got to move around and dance.
