Disney Channel Games 2008???

Just curious what everyone's feelings may be on Miley Cyrus and this scandal? The New York Post has an articile out today and it states this:

The Disney Channel, whose "Hannah Montana" empire is worth nearly $1 billion, has ordered Miley to lie low. "You won't be seeing her for a while," a highranking Disney employee was overheard saying this weekend at a luncheon in LA, according to Page Six. "The company is keeping her away from events and wants her to keep a very low profile for the next four to six months. They're trying to keep her contained."

I was never expecting her at the concert and then after all these photos I thought she wouldn't come now even if she had planned too.

it is free to get into the sports complex tickets for the concert will be handed out if you got accepted also free. I was told there may be extra tickets be there thursday am to try to getem. On the accepted email it said if not picked up by the 30th they will be redistributed. The concert is scheduled to have the jonas bros cheetah girls jordan pruitt demi lovato and yes miley cyrus. she is not suppose to participate in the games but is coming in l8r in the week to possibly be a commentator type person. there wasn't a lot going on in the field. The stars were being taken to various tents to do interviews. They were doing photo shoots in the outfield, one at a time.

I'm going to try to go over after my DD gets out of school, BUT my younger DD - who was puking yesterday, now has a temp of 103. I'm taking her to the doc to check for strep (she pukes when she gets strep). I guess the outcome of her doctor appointment will determine whether or not I head over this afternoon. Sighhhhhh....

Hope she gets better!

Question - how easy do you think it would be to switch 6 tickets for Field with someone for 6 tickets in seats???? I really would prefer assigned seating but good seats and no pushing or shoving I guess. I had hoped someone would know about the field concert set-up as we have an area and the tickets are numbered which would make you think they are doing something with them to have some orginazation.

Man that video makes it look dangerous. I think I am just going to look for the lesser known stars. Maybe chat it up with some International Stars. I'm sure I could learn Japanese in a day....

Cool video, I wonder how she got the camera past security... It does look crazy, shoving and screaming, I have a 7 yo daughter and we're going this afternoon, I think I'll use my husband to protect her from the shoving and pulling, she really wants to get an autograph or two.

It's probably a camera phone with video on it. Most of the pictures that are surfacing are from camera phones.

when i had talked with 2 of the security I had asked about all those people on the field and they said since it was a TV production they want to show alot of people especially on the field.

That's what I was thinking but you would think they would want it organized a teeny bit. I know that I would love a chance to see ourselves on TV over the summer but its not a huge deal.

CAMERAS & RECORDING DEVICES ARE STRICTLY PROHIBITED.

Tickets are not required to enter Champion Stadium to

Has anyone heard any more info on Wednesday's parade? Are we POSITIVE it is still at DHS at 2:15 pm?

I'm checking my kiddos out of school to come over for it tomorrow and I'd hate to get there and learn it was at 10:30.

I'll try and wear a green tank top - it's not LIME - but it is green. I hope to spot fellow Dis'ers there!

haha i've had so many classes in computer labs today, which is good since i can come on here and see what people are saying. thanks to those nice people saying nice things about me
