Disney Channel Games 2008???

True, I guess maybe our research should really be directed to Disney Channel advertising. Who wants the first shift of commercial watching?

Speaking of commercials,has anyone seen the commercial with JB?I think it is for a product called Breakfast Breaks.It even has "little JB" in it! It also shows their tour bus-WOW!

Last year they filmed the opening and closing the same day, the lAST day right before the concert taping LOL

I was told from Rosemarie that they were given out in the order the emails were rec'd. So that if you could not pick up till 04/30 vs 04/27 it has no impact on your seating assignment.

QUES again - regarding down time - i posted earlier - anyone thinking about bring cards, or handheld games, etc for kids to play? Will all that be allowed?

Would you interpret Rosemarie's comment to mean that Passholders and Cast Members will get the first seats since those WERE the first emails?

We had no trouble bringing in anything last year - blankets, snacks, toys and games... NO problem bringing in that "artist tool" that ummm captures images either LOL

Perhaps you can get some "hints" on how to use the "artist tool" in Champion Stadium from Sarahv17.Her "artist's renderings" from last year's Concert are ABSOLUTELY amazing!

Just wanted to ask something to all you FL residents. Are any of you out of school Friday May 2? Pasco county schools are out so I was wondering who else has off that day??

Do you think that Friday may be a back-up day in case of foul weather? And also someone mentioned that school would have to be accounted for with having to put in a certain amount of time each day. I think that would be like any other production where the actors have to do school work it in between the time they are in front of the cameras. Just my thoughts.

That is a good point.Friday could be a back-up "weather" day.I STILL am trying to understand why taping was done in FOUR days last year,but will require SIX days this year.

Opening ceremonies? Why would they film the opening ceremonies AFTER the games already started? O__O

nothing is filmed in order, they bounce around from thing to thing with no rhyme or reason then it is edited to make the olympics. The concert will probably be like that to.

all i know right now is that Demi lovato will be participating in the 2008 Disney Channel Games! Filming will take place on April 28-May 3 at the Walt Disney World Resort.

I totally agree! Here's a thought. Could Friday be a back-up filming day? For bad weather, if something doesn't get filmed, etc...? And, if Wednesday is filming with mainly non-Disney stars... then that could still leave it open for our "unexplained, possibly not even happening" fan day?

Those are all good,valid points! Until proven otherwise,I will continue to think that "something's up!"!

I think if you have field tickets with a 5 year old you'll probably want to stay towards the back and hopefully they'll have screens up, because I don't think they'll be able to see anything. Any kids in the field may have trouble seeing depending upon who is up front.

I'm 5'9" and I'm going to do my best to be up front...so I apologize to everyone whose view I will be blocking! Don't hate me!

I know you thinking more of younger schools but a lot of colleges have final exams the week of the games, I am at a community college about an hour away and we have them, and UCF 's(Orlando) finals are april 22-28

i have not posted for a while because it was just my birthday and i finally finished catching up with the board! =D

i know orange county public schools do have school the whole week (this is probably one of the closest school districts to disney)

and i also have heard that dylan and cole will be attending the games on many of their fansites =]

Yeah, I go to FSU, our exams end April 25th...not that anyone except me from FSU is going to the DC Games, but I think USF runs on our same schedule, and I know a few high schoolers who will be playing hooky. I think Pasco schools are in school until June or something ridiculous! Haha.
