Disney Champagne?

I thought this very unusual that on a DISboard, I had not seen any reference to this (at least not on the Community Board). I found it on another forum that I just joined. And that forum isn't even Disney related

Also, I don't exactly get what the kerfluffle is about. We have plenty of sparkling grape juice here and the kids I know don't even bat an eye when they see it.

I was thinking the same thing when I read the article. When I go grocery shopping and I'm in the juice aisle, right there on the top shelf is the sparkling grape juice.

The only think that concerned me was that the labeling might get confused with an actual bottle of champagne.

Ha ha, that would be a bummer! "I just drank an entire bottle of this Disney champagne, and I'm not even buzzed! This sucks!"

Seriously, don't understand the big deal. Since I was small, my brother and I have gotten a bottle of fizzy apple juice to go with big meals, like Thanksgiving and Easter. We still get it, and we're 27 and 25 now. And I'm more likely to have a bottle of that than a bottle of champagne, it's way tastier.

Studio 100, the local version of Disney, has kids champagne like this. Nobody thinks it's weird...

I get the sparkling cider for my kids at Christmas and NY...I don't see anything wrong with it.

Nobody in our family drinks. We always get the sparkling juice for New Year's Eve. It hasn't contributed to our wanting to drink anything stronger.

<chuckle> You just reminded me of an old friend of mine. This friend and myself were over my DH's house (back when DH and I were dating) during Thanksgiving. DH's parents had sprakling cider and our friend had some. He is the only person I know of that got so called "drunk" on sparkling cider !

Regarding what everyone is saying about no big deal. I agree with everyone. I just figured I post it since I was surprised not to see it here.
