I do online banking. Can I pay on my Disney cc more than once a month or is there a certain amount of times you can pay each month. Like I was thinking of charging groceries, gas, etc but then turn right around and pay each amount back on cc before it is due the next month. Will that work?

On disney Visa you can pay as much as you want, but must wait three days between payments. LOVE it!

I pay mine like 4 times a month. I think that three days in between is the only limitation. I love it because I can just charge something on there to get my disney reward dollars and then schedule the payment right when I get home.

Like others have said, Chase requires 3 days between payments. This unfortunately burned me one time, as my partial payment was only 2 days before the due date, so I wasn't able to pay the full balance until the day after it was due. (Even after begging the customer service rep on the phone) As long as you watch your dates, you'll be fine.

If you pay your Disney cc before the billing period ends do you still get the points? I have a large bill I want to pay but really want to get the points for it too.

I charge just about everything on it and every Monday I pay it off. They give me the rewards based on total amount charged for the month.

As a matter of fact, when we remodeled our kitchen, bedroom and bathroom, we charged cabinets, counters, carpet, wood floors, tile, tub, and much more on the card and immediately paid it off. That was a great year for rewards.

If you have the money to pay off your purchases on a weekly basis, why not just wait until the statement closes each month and pay it off then? I really don't understand why anyone would want to be paying four times a month when they can pay once? It's not like it's gaining any interest as long as you pay in full by the due date.:confused3

^ I'm on a tight budget and it's easier for me to pay things in smaller increments than to wait until the end of the month and cross my fingers that my paycheck clears before the CC payment does!

So basically, you're saying you would spend the money "earmarked" for the credit card payment on something else before the end of the month if you didn't pay as you go? Because if you have the "small increments" as you need them throughout the month, you should logically have them all added up at the end of the month when the payment is actually due - it should have nothing to do with your paycheck clearing.

I say pay whatever way makes sense to you. I can see how it would be easy to forget one charge and not alot for it at the end of the month and then end up carrying a balance because of it. Everyone has their own way of doing things and shouldn't be made to feel bad or stupid because it is not the same way I do things.

I too prefer to pay as I go. I honestly don't keep a checkbook, so I go in online and update my Quicken once a week and pay the ccs off. No need to add anything up or keep a running total except on the computer. Helps me better to stick to a weekly budget. I don't get paid monthly, so why pay bills monthly. Also keeps me safe so I never get a late charge by forgetting to pay a bill one month. If I skip one of my 7 credit cards one week, I catch it the next week. I know 7 cards is a lot to juggle, but it helps me get the best rewards!
