okay I am renting a car from alamo and am staying a porfq ,,I see I have to call 1 day ahead for a transport from hotel to car care center...two questions...who do I call and what is the fee for this serviced?

You have to call alamo direct at the Car Care center and there is no charge for this service.

FYI... our last trip in August, we arrived and called them that morning and within just a couple hours they came and got me. So you don't always have to call 24hr in advance, although I am not sure I would take the chance....

But if you are late, you can always give it a go!

It should also be printed up on your reservation confirmation.

Every reservation I've had with Alamo/National at the CCC has said to call 1hr to 24 hours prior to your desired pick up time.
