Disney cancelled wishes FP4 tomorrow?!?

In my experience it did take about an hour to traverse from castle to exit last year during the 24 hour party right after the second MSEP.

That's not when nor what the question was about.
The question was about getting to Town Square (flagpole) BEFORE the parade.

Keeping times, events and locations straight is a full time job.

Lost my FP+ but due the great advice I called and was able to get it back (thanks everyone!!)

Is it hard to get to the FP+ area for Wishes during the 24 hour event? Just thinking if it is as crowded as people are saying it'll be difficult to navigate to that area.

Oh! Okay, we haven't seen that yet.

Is the bridge between the castle and TomorrowLand not a good spot for that? That's where we usually end up.

Good spot, yes.
But, look for that area to be occupied much earlier (and with more guests crowding it) than it used to be.

The Wishes FP+ areas are brand new this year.
Remember that they open those areas starting two hours before the fireworks.

We might want to take a look at the hub area.

Below is a "work-in-progress" of my overview of the new Hub.
Some of the "outer" sidewalks shown have not been built yet.
Some of the unfinished areas have since been finished.
Some areas have been walled-off for additional work.
(The Partners statue is currently covered by a big box for protection.)
Again, a work-in-progress, all the way around.

This will be my first time to attend the 24 hour party and I have been wondering about MSEP. I have a FP+ for the first parade. I've read that it is less crowded for the 2nd parade which makes me wonder if I should use my FP+ for something else. Also, everyone is saying that Main Street is so crowded it takes an hour or longer to try to walk from the castle to the flag pole. I believe that is where the MSEP FP viewing area is but please correct me if I'm wrong. I'm worried I will have to fight against the crowd just to use my FP+. What was your experience last year?
While I will use a FP for Wishes I don't for the parade. The reason is you can get the same view, more or less, of the parade any where on its route. The viewing spots are not very limited. And there are 2 parades. You can almost always watch on Liberty Square and your view there will be just as good as in the FP area. A view equal to the FP area for Wishes is much harder to come by, with out a long wait.

Worth noting the have fairly militant CMs assigned along portions of the sidewalk all the way down main St and to the hub that keep the a pathway open. You should be able to get by

The new wrinkle to this (and it is virtually never brought up) is "Celebrate the Magic" which I consider to be a must-see (even more so than the MSEP.)

And, that show requires a clear view of the "front facade" of the castle.
And, that pretty much means the hub.
So, with the Hub now growing in demand, the FP+ area for Wishes will just increase in "value" to mare and more guests.
Yes. And when I talk about Wishes I technically mean both the castle show and the fireworks. While Disney gave then separate names I think of the as one unit to be seen together.

Thank you for this - it's very helpful!
