Disney Calling

Is it normal for Disney to call you and confirm rooms? We are considered a GG but have 2 diff hotels booked with 2 rooms at each. We got a call today to confirm this. Is this normal?

i've only ever gotten a call from the GG folks... so that is likely why you were contacted

We've stayed only at value and moderates and never got a call.

We also only get called to confirm when there is a Grand Gathering. And it was only myself called (I was the planner) not every family. The last time they called, they said they just wanted to make sure we were all still coming so they can get all of the rooms close together.
