Disney Called Me!!

Two weeks ago I sent a letter to Disney bemoaning the fact that the September park hours had not yet been posted. I wrote about the difficulty this created for planning obsessive types (such as myself) and also talked about my dismay that Fantasmic was only showing two nights making it unlikely that I'd be able to score a dinner package.

Well!

A very nice young man called me today and listened very attentively while I talked about wanting to show James the Wonderful World of Disney since he has been paying for my trips all these years! :lmao: I told him it was becoming a hard sell with all the cutbacks etc...while also saying how much I appreciate the difficulty in todays economy and thanking him for taking the time to call....

Guess what?

I was rewarded with a guest voucher for FANTASMIC!! He told me to go to Guest Relations the day of the show with my confirmation # and that I would receive two lanyards for James and me!! :worship:

I nearly burst out in tears I was so happy! :yay::yay::yay:

I love!!! Disney! :lovestruc

Don't get used to it, though.

Doesn't happen often . . .

The only time I called WDW to gripe was when they moved the time of park closing and the start time of MVMCP to the EXACT SAME MINUTE.

A lady called me back and said it would be just fine. Whatever.

I went into that party ready to do battle. And if I would have had one teeny problem I would have stormed Guest Relations. But we didn't have any problems. :confused3

Now when we go to WDW I carry a list of the chain of command for the resort, phone numbers and e-mail addresses for Guest Relations, DVC Member Services, etc. plus the snail mail address. If anything ever happens I will be on them like white on rice. But so far, so good.

The only things I can see them possibly changing is the web site. I think the web site has too much useless information making finding hard facts difficult.

And...who knows, maybe they'll add back more Fantasmic shows.
