Disney CALLED me yesterday!

First, a little background. We had a lovely visit to WDW from 11/26-11/29-short and sweet. We had a truly magical trip, from the first "Welcome Home" at SSR, to the "Thanks so much for using Magic Express" at OIA. Had a lovely Happy Birthday on 11/28, saw the Candelight Processional with dinner in Germany on 11/26 and checked out the Osborne Lights. Yes, the TV in our LR had fuzzy sound and we always seemed to justmiss the resort bus we were waiting for-but nothing to ruin the good time.
So, after I got back I sent off a Thank You email to WDW and mentioned how nice the CM's were and how spotless the room was and in general what a magical trip it was. Yesterday, I'm working at home and I get a call. I check caller ID and the first 3 digits are 407! Well, as any good DIS'er knows, that's the magic area code!!!! Of course, I'm answering that! I spoke for about 30 minutes with a lovely CM named April who thanked me for writing about my visit! We talked about the holidays at WDW and our next little trip next week. She also emailed me a cute e-card with the Disney snowman on ToT!
When friends and family ask me why I keep going back to WDW over and over-I'm using this story to explain why. What other company would do that??

That's the thing though, people general only contact company's when they want to complain. When someone contacts a company to say "thank you", it's a breath of fresh air, and should be acknowledged as much as a complaint, if not more.

It is nice to hear of a magical report! I truly love everything when we are at Disney!
 
Thank you...thank you...thank you for such a positive thread. I agree that experiences like yours are the reason I continue to return to WDW.

I'm glad so many people have read and commented on a positive thread. There's a lot of negativity on here lately and I was trying to show the other side of WDW!

Thanks for the email - I wanted to write to Disney to give them kudos for making our 7th anniversary dinner at Boma a most wonderful one.
