I'm looking for some info on this tour please. Cost? What sort of information do you learn? Rides included? We have already done the Walk in Walt's Footsteps tour and are looking for something a little different to do this time. TIA

Thank you, both links were very helpful.

We did this tour early last month. Although they continually update and adapt tour content, HydroGuy's blog is still a very good description of that tour. Of course Condor Flats was closed when we went. So that part of the tour was not there. Instead of riding Soarin' we went on Toy Story Midway Mania. And Radiator Springs Racers was down during the part of the tour when we would have done that. So we were given FastPasses to go on our own later.
The cost was $109 per person, but we got a 20% discount with our Chase Disney Visa ($87.20). HydroGuy shows a photo of the pin that he received, and it looks identical to the pins we received. It's very large and quite nice.
We also did the Walk in Walt's Disneyland Footsteps a few days later. The price is the same as the California Story tour. The visit to the Dream Suite was quite nice, but we were still disappointed that Walt's apartment is no longer a part of that tour. And with Club 33 also no longer a part of that tour, and Club 1901 still a part of the California Story tour, we thought that the California Story tour was much better than the Walk in Walt's Disneyland Footsteps tour. The tour at DCA felt a lot more special. The waiting area is so much more comfortable, with complimentary bottled water, coffee, and tea. And overall we felt we really got the VIP treatment.
Also, note that there is food included with these tours. I don't think HydroGuy's blog covered that. But I recall Mary Jo did mention it in the podcast. The included meal did help to increase the value of the tours. But we also felt it constrained our ability to enjoy dining in the parks on our own terms, especially since the menu selection offered to tour guests is quite limited. We would have been happy with a lower cost for the same tour without the meal.
