Disney buys Muppets?????

My DH just came home, and told me that Disney bought the Muppets???!! Has anyone heard about this yet? If so, is there a site I can go to and read up about this??!!

From what I understand is that disney bought the rights to the basic muppets (from the Muppet Show, and Muppet Babies) and BEAR!!! (Bear in the Big Blue House) but not the Sesame Street Characters (to the Childrens Television Workshop) so basically all disney gets is what they already have park license too (ie Muppets 3D and Bear) but without having to pay out the royalities and such...

Personally I hope this means more BEAR! and more Bear Stuff! hey I can dream....

But perhaps we'll get some movies, etc. Some of the Muppet movies have been great!
