Disney buses

Sorry if this has been asked a thousand time.

could anyone let me know what time the buses start moving we have breakfast booked 7.55am

6:30am...sometimes a wee bit earlier. But, keep in mind that these buses do not run as often as the regular park buses do...so be sure to leave more time.

I went to the Concierge Desk at the BoardWalk and told them that I had to be at Animal Kingdom Park at 8:15 am for a tour the next day. He said the buses start running 1 hour before the park opens. The park opened at 9:00 that day. So he said I had to take a taxi.

He didn't say anything about early buses for breakfast ADRs at the parks.

He could have been mistaken...

I think the buses do start around 6:30am or 7am but to be on the safe side a taxi may be your safest option.

How much does it cost to take a cab from a resort to one of the parks?? Example of AKL to MK...

On our last trip we had breakfast at Crystal Palace at 8:05am. We were able to get a bus to the Magic Kingdom with no problems. Just leave more time than you normally would to get there.

That same trip my FIL also left via bus for AK early not realizing until he got there that they did not open for over an hour yet. LOL

He was mistaken. Buses are running at 6:30 every morning.

You know....we continue to tell people not to ask anyone at the front desk about transportation...now you all know why!!! Disney has been running those early morning buses for years now. It is nothing new. And for the life of me, I can't understand why CMs don't understand this.
Obviously, he was truly mistaken.

I would plan on being at the bus stop at 7:00. Maybe a few minutes before.

How much does it cost to take a cab from a resort to one of the parks?? Example of AKL to MK...

It's like $30 to SeaWorld so I would estimate similar or slightly less a Disney park.

It will never cost anything like $30.00 to get from any Disney resort to a theme park. Half of that is more likely.

Also, you never want to take a taxi to the MK. Only Disney buses are allowed near the MK entrance. All other traffic must go to the TTC. From there you would either monorail or take the ferry over to the MK. You would lose so much time doing this it would be much easier and faster to take a Disney bus directly to the MK.
