If we get 7:45 a.m. reservations at CM would that be early enough to get in MK by 9? Do the busses run by 7:00? We will be at CBR, so do we bus to MK then monorail to Contemporary? Thanks

We are in the same boat. We are staying at the Swan and have an early breakfast at Crystal Palace(I believe at 8:10 and MK doesnt open til 9am) before MK opens. Do they have buses running early enough to the MK that we will be able to catch a bus without having to drive to MK??

Buses start running around 6:15-6:30. They are intended for those guests with early morning ADRs. So...for a 7:45 ADR, at CM's, coming from CBR...be out at your resort MK bus stop by 7:00. The buses come less frequently than regular park buses, so if you just miss one, you may have a longish wait. I would be out closer to 6:45 but I tend to be a wee bit obsessive. When you get to the MK, you can either take the monorail or walk to the CR. The walk will take you about 8 mins, along the sidewalk that runs beneath the monorail line. If you take the monorail, you will have to walk about 5 mins, in the other direction to the monorail platform and then wait for the resort monorail to get there. It should take about 4 mins to get to the CR from MK via the monorail.
I usually just walk.
You should be out of CMs within an hour or so...walk back over. If you take the monorail, it will take you about 20 mins...it takes that long to get to the MK from the CR. Walking is much faster.

Now...for an 8:10 ADR at Crystal Palace, be out at your bus stop by 7:15 at the latest. Why?? Because that bus will stop at the Dolphin, possibly YC/BC and maybe BW. It may have already been to BW before heading to the Swan...that is the usual route. But, it will do to the Dolphin. Sometimes those early ADR buses will stop at YC then the BC..this adds about 15 mins to the time of your trip. When you get to the MK, just head over to the left side of the turnstiles...you will see a CM with a clipboard...they have all the ADR confirmations numbers and will direct you into the park for your breakfast.

They do run a special bus for character breakfasts that is well before the other buses start running. Check with the front desk for the time that these buses come, and be sure to get out there a little early, because if you miss it, there might be no other chance to make it there on time.

we are in the same boat CM at 8am. anyone know if you can drive to CM and park there all day. or do you have to park in the park.

Parking at the resorts is not provided for park access. You are allowed to park at the resort, eat your meal and then you are supposed to move your car. BUT...you can pay to valet park your car..then you can leave your car all day long if you choose.

thanks that shounds like me ...any id on price for valet parking 20/30 bucks?

Should you miss the bus from CBR, you can always take a cab to get to CR.

If you miss the bus from the Swan, take a cab and have them drop you off at the CR then walk to MK to CP. Otherwise, a cab to MK will drop you off at the TTC. A cab from Swan to CR is about $15.

We use this early bus service every trip, you're right about the key being at the stop early. We have had several time with reservations at Ohana, Crystal Palace and chef Mickey's. The bus has brought us right to the hotels that we had reservations for without a problem, just let the driver know where you need to go.

Once the bus drops you off at the Magic Kingdom it might be faster to use the walkway to the Contemporary, because it's right by the bus station and the Monorail station is on the other side.
