We're waiting to pass ROFR and dreaming of the many days to come at Disney. DH and I decided to create our WDW "bucket" list of all of the things we'd like to do at Disney over the years. OK, it was just me, but he went along with it. :rotfl2:

Here are some of the things I can think of:

MVMCP
Tour resorts around Christmas
New Year's Eve at Epcot (again)
Stay at all DC Resorts
F&W
Star Wars Weekend
Ride every ride
Stay at every DVC resort
Eat at every TS restaurant

What is on your list? Any suggestions for mine?

Well, the one thing I'd add is to stay at at least one of the off-site resorts, HHI or Vero Beach. We didn't even know about those resorts existing until we joined DVC, and since our guide owned at HHI and knew DH liked golf, so he was sure to mention it. We decided to try HHI (DH couldn't belive his ears when I suggested it-he'd always wanted to go to HHI, but figured it might be too "golf-y" for me) and now it's our favorite vacation spot. Others may feel the same way about Vero Beach.

I would like to stay at every DVC resort and take an Adventures by Disney trip to either Italy or Ireland.

Some things we've done or want to do:

- "Keys to the Kingdom" tour
- Wild Africa Trek
- Stay at Cinderalla's Castle - I know...not attainable, but a girl can dream, right?
- Go to both water parks. How many people can say they swam with sharks?
- Spend a day learning about the resort. We've stayed at all of the DVCs, except for BLT. I really enjoy spending time seeing what the resort has to offer. In typical Disney fashion, if you'd just walk the grounds, they've dotted every "i" and crossed every "t." So much fun to experience.
- Candlelight Processional (haven't done this yet)
- Tea party with my daughter
- Go to Disney over Halloween (son's b-day is Oct 29). Think it would be a lot of fun.

Wow...so many other things that I like the idea of a list. Going to start one myself! It definitely keeps Disney fresh. :thumbsup2

It is cool to think about all the things that go on at Disney, and that you would like to experience them at least once. We have done a lot but there is plenty to do :

Completed:
F&W - This has become a tradition - we go in Oct every year now
Flower & Garden - Really enjoyed this, EPCOT was amazing the way it was done up
MNSSHP - We had a blast at this, really good time
Breakfast in the Castle - Our Daughter was thrilled when we surprised her
Golf - We have only played LBV, hope to play the others
ESPN - THe weekend - enjoyed this, but maybe I missed a lot, would have liked to have had a chance to meet more people
WDW - Princess Marathon - My wife has run in this and the 1/2

To Do :
Christmas - Want to see WDW all decorated
Stay at all the DVC resorts
Too many restaurants list here- just many to try
Rent a Grand Villa to have the family come with us
Play all the golf courses
Do some of the tours and backlot stuff

I need to research all that is available, I am sure there are many more things

i have been to the world about 20 times and have always wanted to ride the mouseboats (now officially called searaycers). hopefully i will get to mark that off shortly.

We have done almost every special weekend, party, meal, and event over the years and many trips to WDW. We even had a Grand Gathering last year and rededicated our marriage for our 40th anniversary (it was awesome - held at the BCV). However, the one thing that I still want to do, is to take a Disney Cruise with my husband and grandchildren.

Things we still want to do:

Stay in a 1BR and bigger DVC (we always stay in studios to save pts on property)

Many of the tours

Play golf at more of the courses (I've only played Magnolia)

MNSSHP

Epcot F&W

Water Parks - waiting until DS is 48 inches. 4 more inches to go.

Try the rest of the signature restaurants we haven't been to.

Own a house at Golden Oak.

(That last one is a long shot ;) )

We went over to rent one this week. I didn't think the price was all that bad. IIRC it was $35 for 30 min, $40 for 45 min and $45 for an hour and there was a 10% DVC discount. It was hot the day we went over and DW was not thrilled that she would have to wear a life jacket in the heat. We are staying at BCV in Sept, so I will take DS with me and let her nap... :rotfl2:

You have a wonderful list and we have completed your list and then some including staying at every Disney resort.

The only things I would add are:
Halloween Party
Flower and Garden
the Grand Yacht at the Grand Floridian
4th of July at least once,
do a fireworks cruise and Illuminations cruise,
rent some boats, go fishing, water parks and miniature golf
Hoop De Doo and Luau
Horseback riding

I want to thank you for this thread. Sometimes I forget how much we have experienced in the 25 years we have been coming to Disney World. :thumbsup2

Maybe when you do complete such a list at times it is hard to remember how wonderful it was.

The one my spouse would like to remove is having shopped in every shop, lol.

the only thing I have left is book a Grand Villa and a Beach Cottage at Vero Beach.

What a great thread :goodvibes. Here is our Disney Bucket List:
- Stay at every DVC resort
- Stay at every Disney Resort
- Eat at every restaurant
- Go to F&W Festival
- See HDDR
- Illuminations Cruise
- Wishes Cruise
- Stay at other DVC resorts that are not on WDW property
- Go to DLR
- Take the KTTK Tour
- Do the Segway Tour in Epcot
- Do the Train Tour

I would like to stay at every DVC resort and to experience New Years Eve at Epcot, I'm planning on doing this 2013/2014 NYE.

Just off the top of my head:
DVC from mid/late Dec to early Jan
VGC and Disneyland
Transatlantic cruise :cloud9:
MVMCP
Getting an annual pass (and using it enough to be worth it!!)
Staying at the Poly (ideally in the villas they ought to put in)
V&As
Parks at Hong Kong, Tokyo & Shanghai!

Disney List
  1. Own DVC
  2. Stay at all Disney world Resorts
  3. Stay at all DVC resorts
  4. Eat around the World (epcot)
  5. Night in the castle (dream I know.)
  6. Wedding there (Yes, even guys can dream about his wedding.)
  7. Become a CM
  8. Horseback Riding
  9. all the tours dealing with the Seas in Epcot
  10. one trip were I do not stress about the price, and we have enough time to relax and not worry.
  11. DLR
  12. Disney cruise
  13. Princess Tea for DD
  14. Mickey's not so scary Halloween party!
  15. Go during xmas season! That castle looks sooo perfect in pictures!

I am sure there is more, but I just had to put those out there. outside of maybe hourseback riding, I don't see any of the others being obtainable any time soon. :confused3 Still a guy can dream!

We enjoy tea at the Grand Floridian and love the backstage tours, having done several. Next up for us will be the Richard Petty Driving Experience, which I am planning as a surprise for my DH's birthday in September.

We have done most everything on everyone's list, but if I was going to encourage someone to do something special each trip, I'd suggest doing all the wonderful behind the scenes tours there are at WDW. We have done the all day Backstage Magic tour 3 times, and it was different every time....LOTS of information on that one. We also have enjoyed some of the lesser known little tours like touring the gardens at Epcot's World Showcase etc. We have done all 3 of the Segway tours, and I would do them all again in a heartbeat! One thing Disney has always done a good job of is the behind the scenes tours. I have never done one where I didn't think I got my money's worth.

Next on our list is the new safari one where you get to wear the gear and hang out over the exhibits! Plan on that one in December. I want to do the Wanyama again at AKV too.

All of the behind the scenes tour, Epcot Segway tour etc. that my son needs to be 16 to do. He would find it unforgivable if I were to do these things if he can't. We're at 14 1/2 and counting.....

We've been fortunate to do a lot of these special events over the years
~F&W (Party of the Senses)
~MVMCP, MNSSHP, Candlelight Processional
~Flower and Garden
~Rented mouseboats and pontoon boats
~Haunted Wagon Ride at FW
~Breathless at Beach Club
~Stayed at every on site resort except Yacht Club
~Behind the Magic Christmas tour (I don't even know if they do this anymore)
~Epcot on NYE (no desire to do this ever again)
~Sunrise Safari from AK Concierge

One new thing I really want to do is the Wild Africa Trek, I think my DS would love it but we have to wait until he is a bit older.

While I have done some of the things you all have listed, now I have a whole new idea for my next trip! You guys have given some great ideas!

A couple for me right now:

1. Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party.
2. Wake up Christmas morning in Disney.
3. Run in the Disney Marathon and/or half Marathon.
4. All the ideas you all have listed......
