I heard Disney is offering a limited amount of bricks again for the MK and certain resorts. Is that true? If so does anyone know who to contact? Thanx

This would be awesome! We really wanted a family brick the first time they offered them and never got one.

I will be there next week  . If I remember I will try to find out and post the answer when I get home.

There's a thread somewhere on the resorts board about it (something with Poly in the title) I cant seem to find it at the moment but just read it last night. apparently a limited number (20,000)of bricks will be available and they're not doing much advertising for it. Price has gone up to $295

I read that thread too, but it doesn't seem as if anyone has actually been able to obtain the paperwork and the phone message (as of this morning) still states that they are not currently selling and that they stopped selling path stones in July of 2000. There is only info regarding repair/replacement of existing stones given on this recording. Someone did post that they got paperwork at a kiosk in front of MK-and then posted the phone #. Not sure why Disney would put a phone # with an outdated message on the paperwork though. If anyone comes across some more reliable info-like a # that actually gives updated info, please share. ;)

"(407) 824-7890

It was late last night. Close to 12:00am this morning. Someone picked up right away. Good luck!" -johnnyr

It sounds like it is a matter of luck on whether or not they actually pick up the phone or not. This is the number everyone on that thread has been calling, some get through to a live person while others have to leave a message. Most of the info is in that thread, such as 295.00 per brick and that they have spots for 20,000 etc Hope that helps.

Yup, that is the number I have, but the recording is pretty specific about leaving a message only if you are calling for repair or replacement of your existing path stone. Now I tried the number again just for kicks and I get a message from the phone company that the number is not in service. Very odd. I know I'm not dialing wrong cause I just hit redial from my earlier attempt when I got the whole sorry we stopped selling path stones in July 2000 recording. I already had the basic info from that thread, but would hate to think that I can't get paperwork for doing this unless I plan on visiting WDW soon...that is what I am really looking for. Maybe for those who did manage to get a hold of this, they can scan it in and share. I called Disney's main number too and they are clueless about this whole thing.

I received the paperwork by picking it up at a kiosk right outside of MK on my March trip -- it was not highly advertised - there was a clapboard sign that said something like Around the WOrld Walkway and I knew what they meant so I went to the kiosk where I received the paperwork and a postage paid envelope to return it in.

Maybe like the other poster said someone can get it and scan it, (or if anyone is going if they allow you to take more then one application they could pick some up to share with their fellow diser's (just a thought). I would love to have a brick as well. I am hoping they are doing this, as I have seen there are blank spots on the walkway so maybe there going to fill them in.

My husband asked about it at MK Guest Relations and they gave him that same phone number, which nobody ever answered.
They also suggested "Leave a Legacy" at Epcot, which we did (for less than $50) but would love to have a brick too.

ETA: Sorry - it was actually 2 weeks ago... I'm so sad I've been back that long.

Will be on property next week and will attempt to track down our Disneymoon brick and a form for the new one. The price has gone up since '94, but its still the coolest thing to be a part of WDW on a daily basis. :thumbsup2

My dh would kill me if I got another one.

I have 2 so I guess I should be happy & in total they both cost less then the new price.

Oh, how I'd love a new one...

I called & left my info & Denise called me back & emailed me the information. On it, it does state that the program was dicontinued in July 2000 but I figure she would not have sent me the paperwork if there was no chance of me getting one.

I'm assuming then that it has the current pricing on it and stuff then. I guess I will try yet again and see if I can get a return call.

Hi there! If you call (407)824-7890, and leave a message, they WILL call you back. I spoke with Denise, others have spoken with Dean or Roger.

Disney is completing the blank bricks around the entrance to the Magic Kingdom. There is some discussion on starting a bricked entrance to Toontown.

Disney is indeed filling in new bricks. Filled in and faxed my application this morning, bricks are taking approx. 2-3 months.

Totally worth it to me! :)

:woohoo: I just called the number again and got Dean or Dino on the phone (he said his name so fast...plus I was shocked not to get the recording). Anyhoo...he took my info and just emailed me the form. I am about to fill it out and fax it back! He said they are working on the empty bricks in front of the Magic Kingdom currently. I had to laugh when he apologized and said that the price had gone up considerably since they last sold them...I was like-Do you really think I care??? :rotfl: I can't fax that form back soon enough! He said 2-3 months for placement, so that would be perfect if it was in place for our October visit! Thanks Disney Bunch!

Still not sure why I got a recording once for the # being disconnected...puzzles me a bit, but at this point, don't care...I got my form! Yay! :cheer2:
