Ok this is a wierd question but I'm new to these boards. A lot of poeple have written about wearing green to Disney....what does this mean?

Is offical color Dis folks will wear when they visit WDW or DL.That way they have chance to say hi to fellow Diser if they see someone in lime green,lime green ribbon,etc.
