This is true, but they didn't originally create the characters is what I was getting at.

I didn't say they created the characters, did I? If I did, I sure didn't mean to. What I was trying to say is that the wording of that paragraph made it sound like those characters were exclusive of Pixar and now they were being combined with disney's characters... when they have already been considered Disney characters- they even have them influxed into the park already and have for some time now! Toy Story characters, Incredibles characters, Turtle Talk/ie: Nemo, and such. but the wording made it sound like hey, now Disney can use those characters too.... strange way of wording it is all.
That doesn't have a thing to do with who created the charactors.

Does this mean they don't have to say " A Walt Disney Pictures presentation of a Pixar Studios animated film" anymore? Because that really bothers me for some reason.

I hear ya... never really "bothered" me persay but hopefully that means Pixar is no longer a word they'll use..? Pixar is no more since it's purchased, right? Or is it Disney/Pixar now? LOL

Pixar is still Pixar. Only now Disney owns Pixar. Its no different than Disney buying ABC. They didn't rename the station the Disney channel or ABC/Disney. Pixar will still exist the way it always has, only now as a part of the Walt Disney Company.

I think that Disney and Pixar is a brilliant combination, and I am glad to hear the we will see more great things from them!!

I meant like she said that I quoted- like when they make a movie- will it be Disney movie? Disney/Pixar movie? Or will they still say something like Disney presentation of a Pixar movie (but Pixar owned by Disney)? LOL

My guess is that it will say Walt Disney pictures presents (insert title), and then at the start of the film they will have the castle followed by the Pixar logo like we have now. I doubt they will still say the "Disney presentation of a Pixar film" line.

Maybe they should change the name of the park to PIXNEY WORLD! Actually, I think the buyout will work great for everyone, including stockholders, but probably not for awhile.

I love Disney characters and would like to dress up my desktop. Can you tell me where I can get Disney cuties for my pc? I am not very computer savvy so please talk down to earth english. (lol) Thank you very much for any assistance anyone can give me.
