Disney Books?

As a planning and information guide I have enjoyed the Passporter for 2 years in a row. This year I upgraded to the leather binder version. It has lots of great tips on everything. I used it to pick out my resort and alot of our CS & TS restaurants. I also found great things for my son to do. Like the pirate adventure. I'm a real planner so I thoroughly enjoy this book. I have also read Birnbaum's but not recently. Last year I bought a book that had info on Disney & Universal but I can't remember the name. It was more of an information guide. I had some great tips. I can locate it if you would like.

the Unofficial Guide to WDW is the most comprehensive guide book I have found for WDW. It covers everything you can imagine, it is entertaining to read, and the writers have no loyalties to WDW as it is independent. So they tell is like it is...if a restaurant isn't worth the money, they will tell. If a ride isn't worth a 30 minute wait, they will tell. It evaluates all rides according to age approval, scary factor, wait time per 100 people, everything you could think of. I have been to WDW numerous times, and I still consult and sometimes just sit down and read it for enjoyment. I have read a couple of others, but this is the best, IMO.

there is even a small section in the back dedicated to US and Sea World.

Have a great trip.

I completely agree with hrh disney queen and Scuba girl the Unoffical guide to DW is well thought out and very helpful. The Passporter is also great. You can keep your plans organized with this book. I have found the Dis board to be the most help though. :surfweb: I just keep a notepad and pen handy and take notes. I have a notebook with dividers in it to keep all of my Dis info handy. I have been to DW 6 times so far and this next trip I think will be my best just because of all the great info from all of the wonderful people on here. :lovestruc

I also love the Passporter guide. I didn't want to choke up the $35.00 for the book initially, but am now so glad I did and I am a Disney veteran. You can get it for less than $20.00, but I wanted the full leather-like binder also.

In addition to the touring plans and information for each park, restaurant, tour, activity, etc. I love the planning systems, built-in worksheets and organizer "Passpockets" and areas for your tickets, confirmations, etc. I will use this book over and over. This book is also very objective and gives ride and attraction ratings from 3 different viewpoints, child, male thrill-seeker, and female non thrill-seeker. Both my dd (10) and I love it and have read it cover to cover twice since we got it 2 weeks ago. :thumbsup2

Squidrific,
I splurged and bought the leather bound passporter as well. My reason for the splurge?....It is for DW of course!! :woohoo:

I've had both Passporter and UG. They are both great books, my personal favorite is UG. I also suggest reading this message board as well as other unofficial Disney sites.

Here are my favorites!

Have a wonderful trip! My first visit was a short four night trip over Thanksgiving. We knew nothing and had a wonderful time. We only realized later how much we missed!
