How far is the boardwalk if we are in Epcot? I know Beaches & Cream is in walking distance at the resort, but what about the actual boardwalk itself? thank you

It's right outside the International Gateway exit. The boardwalk itself surrounds Crescent Lake.

Easy 10 minutes (if that) walk. We do it all the time in lieu of waiting for the boat.

Yes. You walk right to beaches and cream and left across the bridge to the boardwalk area. There is a boat that will take you to both places if you would rather do that instead.

The boardwalk (small b, the actual walkway) is one side of the lake (left if exiting IG). The right half of the circle is BC/YC. So you're talking about essentially the same distance. Hope that answers your question.

While the Boardwalk area is the walkway surrounding Crescent Lake, the part of the Boardwalk that has all the activities and is in front of the Boardwalk Inn is a 5-10 minute walk. Not far at all from the International Gateway. Out the gates, left at the bridge, post the wedding Pavilion.

We stay at Board Walk all the time because it's a short stroll to Epcot or DHS, very convenient with lots of entertainment in the evening.

Simple directions: Walk out the International Gateway exit past the boat dock. turn LEFT over the bridge to walk to Boardwalk Inn & Villas. Go STRAIGHT (staying on right side of lake) to get to the Beach & Yacht Club Resort. Go into the Beach Club lobby and walk around to the left along the pool area to reach Beaches & Cream.

You can also walk to one and take the boat across to the other. The boat route is:
EPCOT to Boardwalk to Beach & Yacht to Swan & Dolphin to Studios
Studios to Swan & Dolphin to Beach & Yacht to Boardwalk to EPCOT

The boardwalk is teeny tiny, so don't expect a lot. It is not a place to spend more than a few minutes unless you are going there to eat or drink.

They have magic and acrobatic shows in the evening. The boardwalk games will be open then as well (they only take cash). You can also rent a surrey bike. So, if you go in the evening, there is much more to do.

It is a cool place to check out at night vs the day. They have entertainment that you can watch as you wander around checking things out.

All the Epcot resorts(Y&B club,Boardwalk,Swan and Dolphin)as well as DHS are walking distance.Walking all the way from Epcot to DHS is 20-35 minutes depending on your walking speed and if you shave some time by cutting through the Boardwalk Luna park pool or going the long way by going all the way around the Boardwalk over by Jellyrolls.Walking from park to park is doable but skip it and take the boat if its hot out.As far as your question,from Epcot to Beaches and Cream or the Boardwalk is a really short easy walk,5-10 minutes.

5-10 minutes from where you leave at International Gateway. Walking is much faster than the boats.
