Just secured my split stay room at Boardwalk
I was and am staying at Coronado Springs and decided to do 5 days there and stay for 3 nights at the Boardwalk.
Never stayed at Coronado Springs or Boardwalk and really excited to split up my stay to do 3 days at Boardwalk (Beach club fell thru buying DVC points)
I decide to go thru Dave's DVC rental to stay at a place I normally wouldn't stay.
Any thoughts tips or just comments about Boardwalk or even CS ...Love to hear them
thanks!!!!

We just purchased a small add on at BWV recently. Love that resort! Easy walk to EP and a bit longer to HS but also can get there by Friendship Boat. The location can't be beat. If the Bellevue Lounge is open, you must spend some time there. Just a wonderful place to sit and have a drink! Enjoy your trip!!

BWV is one of our home resorts. We love it for its proximity to Epcot and easy access to HS.

The studios are kind of lacking when it comes to storage space. Plan on not unpacking because there are only a few drawers and they aren't very deep or wide.

You will likely have a pool/garden view. If you can make a request, ask for a Village Green location. These studios have a partial boardwalk view and are close to the only set of elevators on the BWV side. The hallways are long and being near the elevator can be a blessing at the end of a long day at the parks.

There's a pizza window and ice cream parlor right on the boardwalk. You can also get quick service at the Boardwalk Bakery. The Screen Door General Store has some groceries (milk, juice, cereal, bread, chips, etc). You can also walk over to the Swan or YC/BC for more dining options. If you really want to make an outing of it, go over to the International Gateway at Epcot and catch the Skyliner over to Riviera to look around and grab a snack.

It can be a little difficult to find a parking spit at the Boardwalk sometimes and the lot can be a hike from the lobby. If you have a car, drop your family off at the lobby and then go park. You may have to circle the lot a few times before you find a space in the evening.

The pool is okay but the slide is one of the best on property. The kids' play section is kind of lackluster compared to other resorts.

Overall, it's a good location and has a lot of pluses.I hope you enjoy your stay and say hello to Lucy the Elephant for me!

Just wanted to say that we had a delicious meal at Toledo (top of Grand Destino Tower) at CS and hope to go again on our next trip. Very good service and reasonable prices (for Disney).
