My 23 yr old DS has been in the Disney College Program since May, and he is finishing up right after Christmas. I am looking for a fun gift for him for Christmas, and found a couple of Disney board games that he might get a kick out of. Has anyone played/seen Disney Magic Kingdom game http://boardgamegeek.com/image/441058/disney-magic-kingdom-game ? I see from reviews of this that it's Disneyland, not Disney World, so I'm a little hesitant to order it.

I'd love any other suggestions you might have for Disney games. I liked this one because it's unique. He has Disney monopoly. I see there are also Disney versions of scene it, clue, and cranium. If anyone has experience with any of these games, or any others, please share.

Thanks so much!

Karen

I have a few Disney games that I enjoy! There are the ones you mentioned and a few trivia games as well! Like Trivial Pursuit, and I think there's some more. But a trivia game about Disney might be a good idea for a 23 year old! Good luck and if I think of the names of the others I have (somewhere), I'll let you know.

Btw, I don't know if a Disneyland game would be the same as Disney World. I haven't played with the one you mentioned.

I have the MK game. Even though it's Disneyland, since it's just the MK it's "close enough" to WDW, if you know what I mean. It's fun, but it definitely skews young. Older than Candy Land, but not as old as something like LIFE.

If he's going to be put out playing a kids game, I'd look elsewhere. It's fun for the sentiment, but it's not challenging for an adult.

I have all the Disney theme park games and my favorite as an adult is the Haunted Mansion edition of LIFE, followed by the Splash Mountain edition of Sorry. I don't know if either is still in print anymore. Scene It's are pretty fun, but again they skew young. And I don't know if those are in print anymore, either.

We have Haunted Mansion Clue, Disney Life, Disney TP, Disney Scene It, and Disney headbandz. I think Headbandz is actually our favorite and COULD be fun/funny for young adults to play.

My dd has a Disney chess set and I got her The Nightmare Before Christmas Monopoly for Christmas this year.
We have Disney Scene It too.

Has anybody used the Pictionary Disney game? I saw that one in an ad. As adults, we always enjoyed regular Pictionary.
Our favorite is the original Disney Trivial Pursuit which I bought back in the early 2000's. It was in a round tin and had great questions. The later versions were watered down.

Disney Headbands game! Great for fun get togethers! Our family loves playing including the adults! You put a card on your headband facing out, everyone can see it but you, then you try to guess who or what is on your card. It can range from Characters, to items, to places. Like Neverland, Snow Whites Apple, or buzz Lightyear. So much fun!

We have the Disney pictionary DVD game...it's pretty fun.

We have the Disney Clue game and like it. We also have Disney Scene-It and Disney Headbanz. I think the Headbanz game is pretty hard to do in the time given and, to me, it gets old after a round or two. I want to get the new Disney Beat the Parents game at Target -- it says, "who knows more about Disney, the kids or the parents" -- I'm thinking, definitely ME! :)

Disney Cranium is my favorite Disney board game, although monopoly is great because the hotels are castles!
If you haven't played cranium before, it's a great game for adults, there's 4 categories, one is trivia (all disney themed of course), then there is performance (name that tune and charades), art (drawing/sculpting pictionary type things) and word problems.
