I needed somewhere to share my blues.
For almost 2 years we have been planning a trip with a cruise. Reservations have been made at both the hotel and the DCL. I have been looking forward to cruising on the dream, and eating at Beaches and cream.
Flash forward to present. The trip still 10 months away, is being postponed to who knows when. We haven't told the kids yet.
Part of the reason is my ex decided he couldn't afford his child support payments and just stopped making them. Part of the reason is my daughter is planning to University in fall and wouldn't be able to join us and not to mention the cost of the trip would pay for the year at school.
As an adult I know this is the right decision. I am still sad and depressed about it. None of my friends here understand. To them it is just a trip. SIGH

I'm sorry, I totally get your Disney blues! With that said, you are doing the right thing
. Doing the right thing isn't always easy, but you will get there when the time is right!
