I know it has only been 2 months since my last trip but I tink the Disney blues are setting in. Life has been crazy being a single mom, working 2 jobs and the girls with school and activities. I need some Pixie Dust smiles. Thinking about the next trip next December seems sooooooooooo far away. Anyone else get like this???

Oh yes! We go a few times a year and I still get like that. Take today, for instance. DH is at WDW with DD5 and keeps calling me at work to tell me how wonderful the weather is (70s in WDW, 30s in Boston!). So... I tune into live365.com and listen to the sounds of the park, lol. Makes me feel like I'm there.

I have it on the computer at work also. I think the people in my office thinks I am crazy...I say no just a kid at heart!!!

I am thinking about next trip and checking on some dates so that is helping. It seems harder to deal w/ wanting to go after becoming a DVC member.

My first post on these boards was about a cure for the post-trip blues  As we were leaving Epcot on the last day of our first visit, DD#1 and I were walking to the car crying our eyes out. DH just shook his head. After we got home we purchased our most expensive Disney souvenir ever, DVC :rotfl2: Planning your next trip is good therapy as well as hanging out here--have you visited the favorite pictures threads over on the Theme Parks board? Looking at the pictures takes me there every time. I know my co-workers think I am nuts  but that's ok--I am a certified Disney addict and proud of it!!! Welcome to the club :grouphug:

:wizard: Ahhh, the WDW blues. Familiar ailment I had myself two weeks following our last trip. Immediate relief came from planning our next trip. Wishing you much pixie dust :wizard: The DIS board is great therapy as well.

Aren't the post-Disney blues just awful? I felt them big time last time I got back... Not only was I back home from my vacation, but my honeymoon was over and my wedding was over and I wasn't a bride anymore... No wedding to plan. To honeymoon to plan. Whew. My poor husband had it rough. But, I quickly found something to do when we bought a house, and now we're going back to WDW in May, taking our 3 and 5 yr old nieces, which will be a blast. I guess I just always remember that we'll go back.

Thanks everyone gor the pixie dust!!!! I was discussing the Disney Blues with my sister and the dust took over. We said screw everything lets see if we can find a cheap flight and it we can get the fathers to keep the kids and have a MOMMY BREAK!!! Guess what today it happened!!!! We found an awesome flight for $175 pp round trip. We are going Fri-Sun. So those who don't believe in pixie dust....thanks for the thoughts everyone!!!

Good for you!! Do you mean you went this weekend? If you did... good timing! You're not in this messy, snowy weather.

No unfortunately not till first weekend in April but at least it is something to look forward to. Beside the 10 inches of snow outside!!!
