We did the Photopass last year and then looked at our pics when we got home and did not know that you could add all those neat little things to them. We ended up not purchasing the CD, but now I wish we would have. Oh well, there's always next time. We also had the Photopass photog take the same pictures they were taking with our camera as well so we basically got the same pics, but not as cute!

Their lighting seems better I think. And their night shots are definitely better! It's not for everyone, but it was so nice to get such great family pictures which we normally don't have. My mom waited unitl Meijers had their 10 cent prints and had them printed out there. They didn't even look at the copyright!

I agree with you on the night shots. Mine takes terrible night shots! But last year was our very first time with Photopass and we didn't know a whole lot about it. Our pictures from our camera were just as good as theirs when we viewed them online, some were better. But the next time we go, we will definitely do more Photopass pics and buy the CD and put all the cute little borders and images and stuff on them. Thanks to you, I learned something new for our next trip!

The Candy lady in Japan was doing a presentation so we stopped for a moment. Dave insisted that she was carving wood! Dave needs to hop on the DIS and get some Disney education!

Monica, you mean you didn't inform Dave about the candy lady before the trip? You didn't make him look at pictures of her and the things she made and tell him "We are going to see her this trip"?

Oh that was me talking to Bill . I got the rolling eyes look when I was discussing her.

Megan was not sure about this big blue guy and put a death grip on Aladdin! She held onto him and wouldn’t even turn around for the picture. I think she left Aladdin speechless!

Megan is really getting into the characters, I love it.

I love the interacting between Hunter and the characters. He looks like he is having fun.

Make sure you get the Photopass CMs to do the special shots where they insert Stich, Tinkerbell, Simba and Captain Hook. The one with Captain Hook is near Pirates of the C. Stitch is at MGM near TOT, Simba is at AK, and Tink is at MK. At least this is where we found them.

Yes, Megan is squeezable. I really wanted to squeeze her today when she got ahold of a pen and wrote all over her arms!

LOVE the pic of you dancing with Pooh - you really look like you are having the time of your life. That is what Disney is all about.

Have a good trip! How did Sam do during the CP? Actually she just showed up in the picture. I should have taken one when she walked past me. It was REALLY blue! I was so happy with the Santa pics on Photopass. Megan cried last Christamas w/ Santa, but this year she saw him as just another character!

Sam did ok during CP but got a bit bored towards the end. We had Neil Patrick Harris for ours and he was fantastic. I'd definately do it again.

Too bad you had to skip Illuminations. But I know how it is being just that tired that you can't do anymore. And sore feet SUCK! Did the hubby at least rub your tired feet for you?

I can't believe that mom wasn't freaking out about losing poor little Hamilton! He was probably so scared! I can't even imagine. As old as my kids are I'm constantly checking on them to make sure they're right there with me. So much so that I get on their nerves. I can't imagine losing one of them even for a second! I just can't believe some people.

No foot rub. My feet were too covered with blisters!

It was so weird. She never did really scream for him, or get too upset, and this lasted several minutes. Everytime I hear the name Hamilton I think of "Maggie and the Ferocious Beast". The pigs name was Hamilton. (Get it? HAMilton!) That poor child!

Megan's party before we left for Disney

My baby girl is 2 today!! The plan was to eat breakfast, head over to DTD and hopefully get Hunter to Rainforest Café, MK for awhile, then dinner at Chef Mickey’s. We get dressed, and give Megan a couple of gifts. We packed the rest to give to her later.

We walked to the Main building to eat breakfast, and finally got to look around the resort. It really is pretty and so peaceful.

It was 10:00, but Riverside Mill was very busy. It took awhile to get everyone’s food since there are several lines to stand in. As I was paying the CM made a comment about Megan and I told her it was her bday. She told her “Happy Birthday” and gave me a couple of the Mickey head straws that they sell at checkout. I got the egg, bacon, cheddar sandwich which was Ok. I didn’t like the “bread” much and yes you’d think I would have learned my lesson on the bacon! If you’re on the dining plan you get two drinks with breakfast since you don’t get a desert. This is nice because you can take a drink for later. So I got the chocolate milk and apple juice which hit the spot. I think Dave got the sandwich too, Mom got the breakfast platter, and Hunter got the pancakes with sausage and applesauce. We shared with Megan and gave her one of Hunter’s drinks. Worked out perfectly! Food was average.

Time to hop on the boat and head over to Downtown Disney. We had to wait a bit for a boat, but we were soon sailing along. What a beautiful ride, on a beautiful day. As we were riding along I started thinking about the time. There just wasn’t time to actually eat at Rainforest Café so I told Hunter he could buy something in the gift shop, but we couldn’t eat there. He was fine with that! Cool! Saved me money!

So what does Hunter buy? You’ll just have to wait and see!

Next up: I make a rookie mistake!

Did you make that Minnie cake in the picture with Megan? It's very cute. Maybe I should make a mickey Mouse for Thomas since his Bday is in May. How did you make the face color? Waiting to hear all about your rookie mistake .

I loved POR, it'll be hard to go back to a value resort! I'm sure you'll love WL. Yes I made her cake. I just mixed white icing w/ a little yellow and red food coloring.

POR is a pretty resort. We went over there once and just walked the grounds, very relaxing place.

Your pictures are amazing. You can make excellent t-shirts and take fantastic pictures. Someone this talented couldn't possibly have made a mistake.
