hello,
I am going to book a stay at disney beach club, and want to take advantage of being close to epcot. I want the best possible walking distance to get to the parks, (skyliner, boat, and or walk to epcot) is there a good centralized room to request. Thanks

Your best bet is to request a general location instead of an exact room. If you want to be closest to the Skyliner and EP walking path, I would probably book garden or water view and ask for a lower floor, "close to Skyliner". If you want something more centralized and more equidistant to the EP entrance/Skyliner and boat dock, I would probably ask for "close to lobby".

Thanks, that's the dilemma, i usually try to be near a food court, now i am not sure where to be, i like to be able to get to and from all parks the fastest with my daughter it makes lif easier, but not sure which way is fastest. I appreciate the help

I don't find Beach Club to be that spread out. Some people do, from other comments I've seen. The Skyliner is near the Epcot entrance. So, near there would be further from the bus stop. Unless you want to be as close as possible to Epcot/Skyliner, I would request close to lobby. You would be nearer to the pool, dining, bus, water transportation. It is not too far from Epcot (IMHO).

You’re at the Beach Club!!! Woohoo. So you’re already in the middle of the magic. It’s all very easy. You can just head out to the main walkway and be on your way. Or out the front for ride share or bus. I wouldn’t sweat the room location.

Room 1501 is the room on the end of the path closest to Epcot. It’s a 2 minute walk to Skyliner and 3 minutes to Epcot.
We stayed is a DVC studio last month and requested room 431 because it has a humongous balcony. We were shocked they fulfilled our request because we stayed at Poly first which also gave us the exact room we requested. That’s very unusual, tho most times we get very near to the room requested

Unfortunately I don’t have a daytime pic from inside the balcony. You can see the size best from first pic. That whole area is the balcony!

Love 431! This is one of our top 6 studio room requests when we visit. Yes, I have 6 favorite studio rooms! Here's a picture from the balcony. Sorry about the towels! And like @ElizabethG mentioned, BC/BCV is not that spread out so you're not really gaining or losing anything with specific room locations.

Actually, if you request "close to quick service" and they fulfill that request, you would be close to the path that leads to EP and also fairly close to the lobby. I would probably think about which mode of transport you will use most. The boat dock is closer to YC, so I would probably suggest trying to get closer to EP and the Skyliner.

What are your other 5 :) ? Are these balconies all for the studio rooms??

The other 5 have the "normal" balconies. We like the rooms because they have a good view of the Epcot fireworks....when they come back. They are, 455, 461, 531, 555, and 561 They are also dedicated studios and not lock-offs with a 1BR.
Thank you! This will be our first stay. Are the lock-offs any different in terms of layout and space?

We had a first floor room near the “secret entrance” and could get to Epcot in under 5minutes. We were also close to the marketplace, our furthest trek was to the pool. I would also add that if you’re physically able, the walk from beach club to Hollywood studios is very nice & time wise we found it equal to the boat

Not really. There's a little shelf and mirror in the entry of the studio in a lock-off [dedicated does not have this] and then the door to connect to the 1BR. Other than that everything is the same. Any other questions, just fire away!

Thank you!!! I THINK I'm good for now but I will definitely pop back if I have any questions!!!

We are now booked for June 5-12th at the Beach Club with a total of three rooms. My older sister is taking her four youngest grandchildren and their mothers. It will be the first trip for the kids. I was invited along to help them make the most out of the trip. This was supposed to have happened in June of 2020 with two suites at Art of Animation but got Covid19 canceled. My sister decided that the delay justified bumping up to a deluxe with the great pool and walkability to two parks and the Skyliner! Now need the resort to open on time!

Beach Club isn't big enough for your room location to be an issue in terms of when you get to the parks. It's only a 2-3 minute difference depending on which side of the resort you're on.
