Disney Bathroom Stuff

Ok...DH just surprised me with "lets redo the bathroom in Disney" I wasn't expecting that, but who am I to argue. My question is this...Where in the World can I find bathroom accessories. My favorite is Pooh, DH is the Genie, and DD is Jasmine and Mulan. Sorry Mickey.. Anyway we're obviously looking for something a bit out of the ordinary...any suggestions?

If you go to the disney store website right now they have a whole section of bathroom supplies. They actually have a REALLY cute pooh set (looks more gardeny- similar to classic pooh) that I think is in the clearance section. Most of the sets seem to have shower curtains, toothbrush holders, soap dispensers and rugs. Seriously considering doing this myself too. They're too cute too pass up Have fun, and hold on to that husband of yours

Just did my dd's bathroom in the "Bathtime Pooh" from disneystore.com. Turned out very cute!

You don't need too much talent or experience to make a shower curtain, window valance or custom towels!

Go to the fabric store and get your desired fabric--they always have Disney prints at JoAnne Fabrics.

To make the shower/tub curtain, you just need to hem a plain piece of material (you may need to sew a few panels together, depending on the width of the fabric )and sew a "tube" along the top to insert the rod or add tabs along the top to hang from.

To make the valance for your window, you can make a cornice by covering a plywood "box" that fits the top of the window. Just use a staple gun to afffix the fabric. Or you can make a balloon valance by sewing a "tube" for the rod and leaving the bottom empty to stuff with tissue paper.

To make custom towels, get your favorite Disney fabric and cut strips that match the width of your solid colored bath and hand towels. Add the Disney fabric along the "accent edge". Make sure to hem all raw edges. Attatch with stitch witchery or sew on.

My bathroom is all hundred acre wood. Alot of it is from the disney store or disneydeals and alot is from walmart. The infant section has a really cute set now w/ a pop up hamper and wall stickers.

I also would check out disneystore.com, and you can check disneydeals.com. They get the close-out items and you can get them for a cheaper price, but just be sure to get them when you see them cause items don't stay around on their site for long.
